I had an amazing time on this Egypt tour. The tour guide was excellent; there were no questions that he could not answer and his in depth knowledge of Egypt and its history was certainly impressive. The highlight of the tour was of course the Pyramids, but it is difficult to choose a favourite as we visited so many other incredible places along the way, including Karnak and Hatshepsut's temple, a traditional Nubain village and Cairo museum where we saw King Tut's treasures. I would definitely suggest that you opt for the hot air balloon ride over Valley of the Kings and the Pyramid sound and light show; and the 5 star Nile cruise was great. I highly recommend this tour - the trip of a lifetime!

Then there's the Valley of the Whales or Wadi Al-Hitan which is UNESCO listed it's got these fascinating whale fossils from prehistoric times. You'll need a guided tour with 4x4s to get there but it's totally worth it.
