- David· June 25th, 2025We got a last minute deal on the week-long Pyramids and Nile Cruise from TourRadar, and was uncertain what to expect but so glad we did it! The company is called Beyond the Nile Tours but also operates under Nourbelle Tours in Egypt. The tour inlcuded a few nights at the Gewan Hotel in Cairo, which was a standard business-style hotel with also a lot of cabin crew using it due to its proximity to the airport. There were some restaurants nearby and large modern mall. We then flew to Luxor to join the cruise and stayed four nights on the Radamis which was a dated but well-maintained boat. Bedroom was clean and tidy with comfortable bed and hot shower. The top deck was the highlight as it had a nice pool and modern loungers and it was great to chill there while cruising down the Nile. They also served drinks and alcohol on board and the meals in restaurant were generally all good with no real complaints. The waiters were all friendly and attentive! The tour itself included some of the main temples (Karnak, Valley of the Kings and Edfu were great!) and the Pyramids at Giza. They were all great to see in person and learn about. Our guide in Cairo Abdul was very knowledgable and he answered all of our questions. I felt like we had enough time at most of the places to see them and take photos. There were some stops to local businesses that sell papyrus, jewelery, and stone statues but never felt too pressured to buy anything. Our guide for the majority of the tour from Luxor to Aswan was Saladino who was AMAZING! So friendly, funny and knowledgable. You can tell he wanted to make sure we got the most out of our time in Egypt and was always happy to help with any question or request. On the last day in Aswan we also had a lunch with Saladino at the Jamaica King restaurant where we had a lovely tagline (including camel tangine!) - which I would recommend trying if you get the chance. All of the other tour representatives and drivers were great incl. Ahmed and Ali. We had some problems initially being told our return flight to Aswan was overbooked but the guys were very contactable and responsive on WhatsApp and able to speak to the airline to help us board. We had signed up to do the optional hot air balloon ride in Luxor but this was sadly cancelled due to the wind - however we received a refund without issue. Overall, would 100% recommend this to my friends and family. TIPS They say you have to decide whether to do the optional tours when you arrive, but it turned out you can always sign up to these later on if you haven’t already done so. Try and break some of the Egyptian notes into smaller 20 and 50 bills for tipping. The waiters on the boat are tipped from the tipping-kitty you pay at the start but some of them were very attentive and friendly so it can be nice tip more. The company gives you the flight ticket info in advance. I would recommend checking yourself in (the day before) to secure you spot on the flight as it appears Egyptair overbook the route. We eventually were able to board after being denied - but if we hadn’t have been able to we would have definitely missed any early flights out of Cairo the next day. If you do all the optional tours, the itinerary is quite intense with early starts and long days so would recommend to keep this in mind. We did not do many of the extras and found it very manageable with a lot of time to relax on the top deck of the boat.Show moreTrip date: June 2025
- NCNicholas· June 21st, 2025The tour was great for me and my friends. All the tour operators really took care of us. Making sure we knew what was going on and always there to meet us. It is a great tour to see the highlights of Ancient Egypt. Our tour guide from Luxor onwards (Saladino) was exceptional. He gave us in depth knowledge into the history and also into some modern day insights into Egypt. He was very friendly and always there to make sure we had the best experience. He became a friend along the way and we were very happy to have met him and been on his tour. I highly recommend him. Big thanks to Ali for looking after all our needs as well. Great tour which we recommendShow moreTrip date: June 2025
- DRDonato· June 21st, 2025We were truly fortunate to have Saladino as our tour guide in Luxor and Aswan. He was always by our side - attentive, reliable and ready to assist with anything we need. His deep knowledge of ancient Egypt history made our experience more memorable. He even helped us get the best deals when bargaining with vendors. He ensured a seamless handover whenever we transitioned to other guides. This tour is highly recommended for anyone exploring this incredible part of Egypt.Show moreTrip date: May 2025

- Paulo· June 18th, 2025After traveling to 82 countries solo or independently, Egypt marked a personal milestone: my first time joining a group tour. I’ve always preferred the freedom of planning my own itinerary, moving at my own pace, and avoiding the structure that comes with group travel. So I approached this experience with a mix of curiosity and hesitation. To my surprise, exploring Egypt’s iconic sights in a group turned out to be the best decision. From the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx to the temples of Luxor, Karnak and Abu Simbel, navigating Egypt’s rich history and logistical challenges was made much smoother with a guide and a group. The sheer scale of what you see, and the deep layers of culture and mythology, truly benefit from knowledgeable context — something I might’ve missed or misunderstood going solo. That said, traveling in a group wasn’t without its moments of compromise. I missed the flexibility I’m used to. But in a country like Egypt, where distances are long, crowds are big, and local know-how is essential, the efficiency, safety, and insight provided by the group experience outweighed the downsides. For anyone hesitant about group travel — especially fellow solo travelers — Egypt might just be the exception that changes your mind. This company helps you from the moment you step outside of airport , until you leave , Ashraf our guide and egyptologist is amazing , always available and caring for everyone’s needs, with all knowledge and pride about his country , thank you for the great time . - NHNoreen· June 14th, 2025This was an amazing adventure! It was very well organized with nice accommodations, transportation and amazing guides - an Archaeologist -Abou, and Egyptologist, Saladino! Thank you, TourRadar, Beyond the Nile Tours and NoorBelle Tours! We cannot say enough about how wonderful this trip has been. From the first moments of planning with support from Randa, to our airport driver, Ali, our Cairo organizer, Moustada, and guide, Abou, and the amazing guide from Aswan to Luxor, Saladino. We had a little hiccup in our plans and, Ahmed, the supervisor, worked diligently with us to ensure this was the trip of a lifetime!! We learned so much about Egypt - the history, customs, religions and people! What a beautiful country!Show moreBeyond The Nile Tours commented on this reviewThank you for your feedback and for choosing Beyond The Nile Tours for your Egyptian journey. - MCMélissa· June 13th, 2025The tour was very well organized with no issues. The visits take place in the morning, allowing us to enjoy the boat’s pool in the afternoon. We were lucky to be just 4 participants, which made for a small group. Our guide, Medhat, spoke very good English and gave us detailed explanations at each site we visited. I especially loved the very colorful Nubian village! I highly recommend this tour, which allows you to see many beautiful places in just under a week. On the boat: The food was very good and generously served. The price of drinks was very reasonable (only €11 for a week for three people: water, coffee, tea). Lastly, the staff was very welcoming, the rooms were clean, and the pool was perfect for the hot afternoons.Show moreTrip date: June 2025
