Arrival in Cairo
Landing at Cairo International Airport, your representative will be waiting to take you straight to your hotel for check-in. This gives you time to settle in and rest up before your activities begin.

- Day 2
Cairo
This morning you'll head to the Great Pyramids of Giza to see the pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mykerinus along with the Sphinx and Valley Temple. After that, the Grand Egyptian Museum is on your agenda where you can walk through 5,000 years of Ancient Egyptian history, including the Statue of King Ramses II and various pieces of royal regalia.

- Day 3
Cairo to Aswan
You'll fly to Aswan and then visit Philae Temple, which was built for the goddess Isis. Boarding your Nile cruise ship happens around lunch time, so you'll have your meal while the ship starts moving upriver. If interested, there's an optional visit to a Nubian Village where you can see colorful houses and camels. You'll spend the night on the cruise ship in Aswan.

- Day 4
Aswan to Edfu
An early morning optional tour takes you to Abu Simbel's temples, which Ramses II had built and then relocated in 1968. From there, sailing for about 5 hours brings you to Kom Ombo where a temple honoring both the falcon-headed god Horus and the Crocodile God Sobek waits. By evening, there's an Egyptian Night Party on the ship with traditional Galabeya gowns, 60's, 70's, and Arabian music. Overnight is in Edfu.

- Day 5
Edfu to Luxor
Starting with breakfast, you'll visit the Temple of Edfu, which is quite well-preserved and dates to the Greco-Roman era, honoring Horus. Then the ship continues to Luxor where you can see the temples of Luxor and Karnak, both dedicated to the god Amun Ra, plus the recently opened path of sphinxes. There are temple shows at night if you want to catch one. You'll stay overnight in Luxor.

- Day 6
Luxor West Bank to Cairo
Early disembarkation has you crossing the Nile River to Luxor's West Bank. The Temple of Hatshepsut, built by Egypt's notable female Pharaoh, is your first stop. Next comes the Valley of the Kings where you can enter royal tombs and see some of the 64 tombs with their various complexities and ongoing archaeological work. You'll also pass by the Colossus of Memnon. Later, a transfer takes you to Luxor International Airport for an evening flight back to Cairo, with an overnight stay at your Cairo hotel.
