The guide was knowledgeable, the transportation was comfortable, and everything ran smoothly. The only recommendation I would give is regarding the tipping system. Instead of including tips in a general charge, it would feel much better to allow guests to give tips directly to the people who provide the service. This way, each person receives direct appreciation for their effort, and travelers have the flexibility to show their gratitude in a more personal way. He attended to all our queries, wonderings and worries (not that we ever really had any) promptly and with sincerity. He had an incredible amount of knowledge that he shared seamlessly to the group. He referred to us all as ‘his family’ the whole time and to the women as ‘his queens’, which bought a sense of calmness to the group. He was so transparent with the vendors in the street, ensuring that they respected us as tourists, but also supported the vendors to sell to us as needed, respecting the culture of his country. It was the small details, when I needed to cross the road, he would take my hand and guide me, making me feel very safe. The cruise was lovely, the staff on the cruise were friendly and the buffet food was amazing. The hole in Hurgharda was all inclusive and a beautiful beach resort. He never had an itinerary for us the whole trip. I had to reach out every night to figure out when and where our excursions would start. Frequently we were jammed into tiny vehicles for transfers. The hotel in Cairo (Swiss Inn) was comfortable and clean. Our Holiday in Egypt contact met us for an initial briefing and when we decided to change from the train to a flight there was no issue and it was sorted with no fuss. The service from all the guides throughout the tour was first class and all spoke excellent English. The Nile cruise was such a great experience with a great balance of relaxing and enjoying cruising along the Nile and stopping off and visiting the sites of ancient Egypt. Again our guide was a fully trained Egyptologist and his knowledge really added to the experience and brought the story of Egypt to life. The cruise boat had a great selection of international and local food for all meals and the staff really went above and beyond. Post-tour accommodation in Hurghada is available at an additional cost. One night at Iberotel Casa del Mar Resort will be $140 USD per double room, per night, on an all-inclusive basis. Alternatively, you're welcome to book extra nights directly with the hotel if you prefer. In either case, we will adjust your return bus transfer according to the check-out date and time you provide. You also have the option to end the tour in Hurghada and depart directly from Hurghada International Airport. We'll gladly arrange your airport transfer accordingly.

How much would it cost to add another day at the end of the tour and to have the optional Old Cairo, pyramid steps & Memphis tour on that added day? After a very long flight going to Egypt I would like to rest 1 day before starting the tour the day after that. How much would it cost for that additional day before the tour starts? Last question, will we be able to go inside the pyramids?

To replace the bus with domestic flights (Cairo to Aswan and Hurghada to Cairo), the additional cost is $280 USD per person. This price includes: A one-night hotel stay in Cairo, A domestic flight from Cairo to Aswan, A domestic flight from Hurghada to Cairo. Adding an extra night in Cairo and arrange the optional Old Cairo, Step Pyramid & Memphis tour would cost $120 USD per person for the day tour and $140 USD per DBL room per night. Extra night before the tour starts would cost $140 USD per DBL room per night. Yes, you'll have the option to enter the Great Pyramid (Khufu) during the visit. Entry requires a separate ticket at the gate, currently around $25 USD per person.
