What people love about Egypt Tours in March
- Historic Horizons - Egypt 8 Days (5 Stars)
Este less time and just call them and go! For me this tour is one of that moments in time to be fully present and living every moment as huge joy. Trip OK, does OK, people OK. Just amazing! Consider to have doors for local shopping and to actively bargain at as half.
- Egypt Treasures (Cairo, Aswan, Luxor, Felucca sailing ,black &white desert safari) with Domestic flight
It was an amazing trip, I would recommend this trip to everyone. It was amazing tour packed with fun adventure and memories of a lifetime. It’s 9 days of stunning activities , amazing food and unique experiences that have been incredible. I struggle to pick highlights because the whole trip is so good it’s hard to put one thing above another but if I had to I would probably say the white and black Sahara desert and Abu simbel
- Grand Egyptian GEMs: Hidden Pyramids and the Nile - Return Flight Included - 9 Days
My daughter and I just got back from a wonderful and thrilling trip to Egypt organized by Beyond The Nile Tours. Every single person we met, whether with the tour company or not, was kind, courteous and tried very, very hard to please. And they did. All the Egyptian tours go to the same amazing places, but what made this tour incredible for us were the Tour Guides: Gabber, Hassan and Muhammed were all extremely knowledgable, kind and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We spent the most time with Hassan Hosny whom we got to know the best and are lucky to call a new friend. He was knowledgable, patient, kind and most endearingly, funny. We had such a great time under his wing. Thank you, Hassan! Here are a couple tips I wish I'd known: Bring a big stack of $1 bills for tips because you will never have enough small Egyptian pounds. You will need the ones every where and for everything including the bathroom. Secondly, insist on a cabin as far to the front of the boat as you can possibly get! We loved our Nile cruise and our boat but were at the back above the motor and the noise and vibration are not pleasant. My only criticism of BTNT is communication, not with the Tour Guides, but with administration. I am not sure if it's language or cultural, but nothing is written down; not prices or itinerary. We had a small snafu at the end of the trip when the US changed its covid test time requirement from 72 to 24 hours. I wanted firm and clear information about when and how we would get the test, how much it would cost and when we would receive the results. I don't think that's too much to ask since so much was riding on that information. In the end, we did get the results in time and were able to board our plane home. We loved our trip to Egypt! Go! You will not regret it. With tourism at a tenth of normal, there will never be a better time. We felt safe every step of the way. Go!
What our customers ask about Egypt Tours in March 2026
What is the weather like in Egypt during March?
Egypt's weather in March provides comfortable conditions for exploring with daytime temperatures in Cairo ranging from 20-25°C (68-77°F) according to the Steigenberger El Tahrir Hotel. The mild climate makes both city walks and desert excursions pleasant especially during morning hours. One TourRadar traveler notes "March provided perfect weather for exploring - not too hot for sightseeing but warm enough to enjoy the Nile cruise deck." These conditions are particularly good for visiting outdoor archaeological sites and spending time on Nile cruise decks.
What are the best sites to visit in Egypt during March?
The temperate March weather creates good conditions for exploring Egypt's main archaeological treasures including the Pyramids of Giza Karnak Temple and the Valley of the Kings. The Philae Temple in Aswan benefits from clear spring lighting conditions that enhance its architectural details. One traveler noted: "The morning light at Karnak Temple in March was perfect for photography and the temperatures made exploring the Valley of the Kings much more comfortable than summer months."
How crowded are the tourist sites in Egypt during March?
March brings peak season crowds to Egypt's main attractions but visitor numbers remain manageable. Tour operators like TourRadar schedule early morning visits to help guests avoid the busiest times at popular sites. A recent visitor shared: "Our guide Mansour arranged our Luxor Temple visit for early morning in March which meant fewer tourists and better photo opportunities."
What should I pack for Egypt in March?
The variable March temperatures call for versatile clothing options. Pack light layers including jackets for cool mornings and evenings especially for Nile cruise activities. MS Sonesta Moon cruise staff recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes sun protection and modest clothing for temple visits. A TourRadar guest noted "March evenings on the Nile required a light jacket but days were perfect in light clothing."
Which Nile cruise routes are best in March?
The popular Luxor to Aswan route proves ideal during March with essential stops at Kom Ombo and Edfu temples. Cruise ships like MS Jaz Regent and Nile Story offer well-planned March itineraries that take advantage of the pleasant weather. According to a recent passenger "The March cruise allowed us to enjoy both deck activities and comfortable sightseeing at each stop."
What unique activities are available in Egypt during March?
The mild March weather opens up possibilities for outdoor adventures including sunrise hot air balloon rides over Luxor traditional felucca sailing trips on the Nile and desert expeditions. Clear skies enhance visibility for photography and exploration. As shared by a TourRadar participant "The March morning balloon ride over Luxor was absolutely magical with clear skies and perfect visibility." The moderate temperatures also make White Desert and Black Desert tours more enjoyable.
