Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo
You'll land at Cairo airport where a representative meets you to handle the arrival process. After that, it's a transfer to your hotel where your guide gives you an overview of what's coming up on the tour. You'll have the rest of the evening to settle in and get some rest before things start tomorrow.

- Day 2
Cairo to Aswan
Breakfast comes first, then you head out to the Giza Plateau to see the Great Pyramids and Sphinx. From there, you'll move on to Saqqara to walk through the Step Pyramid and check out ancient Pharaonic tombs. Later in the day, you board an air-conditioned bus for the overnight journey to Aswan, arriving the next morning.

- Day 3
Aswan
You arrive in Aswan and get settled at your hotel. In the morning, a tour takes you to Philae Temple, which sits on an island and you reach it by small motor boat. The approach across the water to this ancient site is quite nice, and you'll spend a good bit of time exploring before heading back.

- Day 4
Nile Felucca Sailing
After breakfast, you board a Nile felucca and sail downriver. Throughout the day, you watch daily life along the shores and see how the landscape changes as you move along the water. The felucca becomes your home for the night, so you'll sleep on board as you continue your journey.

- Day 5
Luxor
An air-conditioned bus takes you to Luxor during the day. You start by visiting the Temple of Kom Ombo, which has two matching entrances and overlooks the river. Later, you explore the East Bank, walking through the massive Karnak Temple and the Luxor Temple with its long Avenue of Sphinxes leading up to the entrance.

- Day 6
Luxor to Hurghada
After breakfast, you cross to the West Bank to explore the Valley of the Kings, one of the most important archaeological sites in the country. You'll also see the Temple of Hatshepsut, built for Egypt's female pharaoh, and the great Colossi of Memnon. By afternoon, you're on a bus heading to Hurghada on the Red Sea coast.

Hurghada
This day is completely yours to do what you want in Hurghada. If you're into water, you can go snorkeling, swimming, or scuba diving. Or just relax on the beach and soak up the sun. There are restaurants and shops nearby if you want to grab food and drinks or wander around.

- Day 8
Hurghada to Cairo
Another free day in Hurghada where you make the plans. Spend it doing more water activities, trying local restaurants, or simply unwinding by the water. Later tonight, you'll board an air-conditioned bus for the overnight drive back to Cairo, arriving in the morning.

- Day 9
Cairo
You arrive in Cairo and transfer to your hotel. After settling in, a tour takes you through the city starting with the Egyptian Museum where you see items from King Tutankhamun's tomb. Then you explore the Coptic area, including the hanging church above Roman gate towers, the Mosque of Mohamed Ali on the Citadel, and Khan El Khalili bazaar with its narrow alleyways, shops, and coffee houses.

Following breakfast, you head to Cairo airport for your departure. You'll carry home all the memories from your time exploring Egypt's monuments, temples, and the Nile River as you board your flight.
