Anna· September 17th, 2025We had an amazing trip with amazing guides and a really fun group of people. Highlights were the hot air balloon ride and the Nubian Village. There are lots of early wake ups but they’re interspersed with later ones and once you get to the cruise you get plenty of down time most days to have a rest on the boat and enjoy the facilities. I wouldn’t pay to add on the Abu Simbel temple again as it’s 7 hours driving, 3:30am wake up and $100usd per person just to see another temple, the exterior is impressive but for the lay person the temples themselves aren’t any more interesting than the others you’ve already seen. We definitely got temple fatigue and would’ve preferred to have a slow start to the day with a swim on board the boat, saving us $100 per person.Show more

Ashraf who is native of Luxor was incredibly knowledgeable about the local history and culture, making the historical sites come alive. When not showing us around he was engaging and helpful he made sure we were dydrated (temperature was in high 30’s) he also found shade for us for our history lessons and generally took care of us. Ashraf also gave us tips on how to do things whilst we were on tour which was invaluable.Show more

After our Cairo tour we were met in Luxor by Ashraf of Nourbelle tours. He is a working archeologist and native of Luxor. He has a depth of knowledge and passion for Egyptology that are very inspiring. He is also funny, kind and intuitive in his approach. We toured many important sites including Karnak, Luxor, Abu Simbel, Philae and a Nubian village. We spent 5 days with him on our Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan city. In our leisure time, he shared his insights on current and past geopolitical experiences he has live through in Egypt. As well as sharing with us the future goals of the country, while showing us examples of desert reclamation. We had so much fun with him as we learned Egyptian dances and Nubian chants. Alexandria tour needs an extra night to do, Alexandria Tour will cost you 125 USD per person and the extra night will cost you 150 USD per 1 night in a double room. The tour starts at 07:00 and you will return to Cairo approximately at 18:30. The tour includes Lunch + Entrance fees + Tour guide + Transfer. During the tour you will visit: Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa + Alexandria Library from outside + Citadel of Qaitbay. The entrance fees are approximately between 125 USD and 165 USD per person. The tipping is 60 USD per traveler. The hotel will be Gewan Cairo hotel or similar.

The package includes one free transfer on the first day from Cairo international airport to our hotel and one free transfer on the last day of the tour from our hotel to Cairo international airport. Your accommodation starts on the first day at 13:00 and ends on the last day at 10:00 am.
