The day with Sohaila in Cairo was amazing. Pre-tour communication was clear and timely. We experienced the Great Pyramids, a camel ride and explored inside a pyramid, Sphynx and Cairo Museum and a unique Egyptian lunch. Sohaila was excellent. Her knowledge was incredible and she was only too happy to answer any questions on any topic, including history (of course), religion, life in Cairo, education, so far unanswered questions and everything in between. She tailored the day to suit us, allowing as much or as little time as we wanted in any location, as well as explained additional opportunities and organised additional tickets, etc. She was fun, engaging and ensured our experience was her priority. Our driver was also excellent – navigating crazy traffic to always be at the meeting spot with the air conditioner running! But pick ups and drop offs was the worse I encountered some pick ups never happened had to find our way at our cost and drop offs were late by hours one excursion was changed due to 4 hours delay, was a mess. The bus to Hurghada was not too bad just long. We opted to fly back to Cairo. The Tourrardar team was great when changes were made at the last minute.Show more

We had a few changes in schedule/itinerary that generally made the overall experience much better and I think these should be incorporated into the tour. These were to not take the train Cairo to Aswan and fly instead, and a private bus to Hurghada was preferable. I think that offering a flight to Abu Simbel would have been a MUCH preferred option to 10 hours in a bus. We only had an hour at the temple which was disappointing. We took our 5 year old along with us and we're really well looked after giving us flexibility where needed while experiencing all the great sights and experiences. Would definetly recommend both Holiday in Egypt and Tour Radar as easy communication with somebody always there to meet us at the next stop and a few contacts to reach out to if needed. It was a great price for what was included with nice hotels, a lovely cruise boat and crew and resort. The train trip from Cairo to Aswan was certainly an experience with a very old train but we were warned by the tour company and had the opportunity to upgrade for a flight for very cheap but we were keen for the full Egypt experience and with an open mind for travelling really enjoyed it. Thanks to all the guides and behind the scenes organisers. Regarding the Egyptian sleeper train, each cabin is a private twin room equipped with: Two fold-down bunk beds, Basic bedding (sheets, pillows, and blankets), A small sink and mirror inside the cabin, Shared toilets located at the end of the carriage, Dinner and breakfast are served onboard (basic meal service). While the train provides a classic overnight travel experience, please note that the level of comfort and cleanliness may not match international standards but you have the option to upgrade to a flight. As for the arrival in Cairo on the final day, the bus is expected to reach Cairo between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM, depending on rail traffic and schedule adherence.

The optional tour to Abu Simbel is scheduled for the early morning of Day 4. The next scheduled activity—Kom Ombo Temple—starts around 4 PM. Both tours are usually completed without impacting the itinerary. I'd be happy to offer you a $20 discount on the Abu Simbel tour once your booking is finalized. You can select Abu Simbel from the optional add-ons, and I'll apply the discount after confirmation. Regarding the group size, we are committed to a maximum of 15 travelers per group to ensure the best service and experience. One of our groups—comprised of American solo female travelers—has already reached the maximum. However, you will join another group of 9 travelers.

Regarding the flight upgrade — it's available on the Book Now page. Once you select your tour date and room configuration, you'll find a list of optional excursions, including the flight upgrade. We do have the same package you're referring to, but it includes 2 nights in Hurghada instead of 3. However, you can easily add a post-tour accommodation night in Cairo, which means your final night would be spent in Cairo. As for the 7-day cruise, we don't offer that option because the 3-night/4-day cruise includes the same sightseeing highlights and experiences as the 7-day version.

Your final payment is due 60 days before the tour departure date, or you can opt for installment payments if you prefer.
