Definitely worthwhile to pay extra to tour the Abu Simbel Temple! The drivers drove well. They really try their best to make sure you’re safe and happy from start to finish whilst also getting the most out of your trip with limited time and big crowds. Our tour guide on the cruise was Ahmed Kassem, called our group ‘my family’ which brought us closer by the end of it and felt like family. He was very vey knowledgeable and explained things well! From the moment we arrived in Egypt we were taken to a very luxuriousl hotel where we could rest and swim. The next day we experienced the splendour of the pyramids and egyptian museum guided by a friendly lady who was very knowledgeable and treated t a uniquely Egyptian lunch. After a sleeper train ride from cairo to Aswan. There we met our constant companion guide Achmet Kassem who took care of our every need. He was an incredible guide with vast knowledge and attending to our every need whilst travelling with us from Aswan to Luxor on the Nile cruise which was an incredible experience. Achmet explained the various temples and its history to us. He is an incredible guide combining knowledge and individual attention and csre. The food on the cruise and at the fantastic resort in Hurghada was beyond expectation. Organisation of the tour was flawless and smooth. Chris· July 22nd, 2025Not a relaxing tour but fantastic for those who love adventure, information, history and visiting the places you normally only see on tv. I travelled with my wife and two children aged 17 and 14 and we all got something from this trip and for those worried about conflicts in the Middle East we saw and heard nothing about them and felt very safe and secure on this whole trip. Very warm in July, we got up to about 43 degrees Celsius on the cruise but the advantages are less queues for the attractions. Our two guides, Sohaila in Cairo and Ahmed for the cruise, were extremely knowledgeable and enjoyable to listen to. Definitely would recommend this trip. Only side notes are the attractions aren’t covered in the price of the holiday and are settled when you arrive at the first hotel, tips are paid in advance for the whole trip but everyone still expects you to pay at the time too so you have to either be hard or give a bit more each time, and I would recommend upgrading to flights from Cairo to Aswan instead of the train as we were told the train can often be delayed and take up to 17 hours with no Wi-Fi or anything to entertain you and also upgrade to a flight at the end from Hurghada to Cairo. We had a miscommunication and thought the bus trip from Hurghada to Cairo was about 5 hours but it is actual more like 9-10 hours from hotel to airport. You may consume your own liquor on the train—that's absolutely fine. Please note that post-tour accommodation is available only at the Cairo hotel. If you'd like to add one extra night at the Hurghada resort, the additional cost would be USD 170. Trabsfer to hurghada airport is also included.

The Super Safari Tour can be arranged on any free day during your stay in Hurghada. It starts at 12:30 PM and finishes around 8:00 PM. The tour includes pickup from your resort, followed by a drive to the desert where youll enjoy quad biking, a camel ride, and a BBQ dinner with a show. After the show, youll be transferred back to your hotel. The cost is USD 50 per person. The Hot Air Balloon Ride is one of the highlights in Luxor. Youll enjoy a breathtaking flight over the Valley of the Kings, watching Luxor from above as the sun rises. The experience begins early in the morning with pickup from the cruise ship to the balloon site on the West Bank. There, youll witness the balloon inflation and board once clearance is granted. The cost is USD 120 per person.

Standard check-in time is at 1:00 PM, so you can book one night of pre-tour accommodation or wait in the hotel reception. For Hurghada departure, we can arrange a transfer to airport at no additional cost.

Your stay in Hurghada will be at a resort on an all-inclusive basis. The most convenient option is to begin the tour in Cairo as scheduled, then enjoy the last three nights at the Hurghada resort.
