Trip date: July 2025- LTLaura· July 16th, 2025Coming into this tour we didn't know what to expect. Everything on this tour was extremely well organized. My husband and I decided to complete our visa on arrival and that was incredibly smooth and took less than 5 minutes. Timeless tour staff helped us pick up our bag, got us into a van with a driver, and took us into the hotel at which point they checked us in. Some early mornings, but that was well worth it to get the best weather and to see all the sights. Any hiccups were skillfully handled by Remon and in busy sites full of tourists, he is very respectful of your group and other groups as well. We saw an incredible amount of sights, which meant some early mornings, but it was a great way to beat the heat. All of the accommodations were great. Tam our driver was awesome. Romany was great handling accommodations. All around great staff. The only wrinkle we had was our driver dropped us off at the wrong terminal at Cairo Airport after the tour ended. Inconsequential and a minor inconvenience. Actually, the Abu Simbel tour starts at about 3:30 am and finishes at about 1 pm, before the cruise start cruising down the Nile towards Kom Ombo. So, you won't miss Kom Ombo visit at all.

In case you would opt for the sleeper train upgrade, there would be a tour guide traveling with you on the train. Uou won't be traveling alone. However, I highly recommend you to opt for the domestic flight instead. Hence, the sleeper train isn't that comfy.
