I'll recommend Tour Radar for the Nile Cruise but it's not for everyone. Of the many I browsed, this seemed to offer the best value for money. I flew from Cairo to Aswan, then took the cruise from Aswan to Luxar, 3 nights & 4 days. All the cruises are pretty much the same. The pool works on the sundeck though in winter the water is too cold to get in. It's not the cleanest boat and the food is quite predictable. Very limited for vegetarians unless you push the staff to make something. Watch out for the eggs. Here's the schedule: Night 1 Aswan - Check-in at 12:00 noon - no early check-in possible. Post-lunch, see High Dam, Philae Temple - tickets everywhere separate. Stay on the boat in Aswan. Could have stayed in the town as well and done 2 nights & 3 days. Night 2 Edfu - Boat leaves only by noon - so morning is free - crossed the river and saw the lovely Nubian tombs on my own. You can do Abu Simel but folks said it's not worth it - 10 hours to see a couple of temples. Afternoon boat leaves for Edfu. See the Sobek/Horus (one temple) at Edfu. Light Day Night 3 - Reach Luxar. See Luxar temple at night. Next morning (Day 4) go for the hot balloon. Breakfast at boat, then check-out. Bags stay on the boat. Finish Luxar sight-seeing and then pick up bags in the evening.

It's hard to say what was my favorite thing to see cause the whole experience was amazing. Every Temple left me breathless. Our Tour guide Talaat Abbo (Tata) was very friendly and knowledgeable and always offered to do our tours in English or Spanish. Would highly recommend him for anyone wanting to do this tour.
