Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo to Luxor
You'll fly from Cairo to Luxor this morning, then meet your guide to explore the West Bank. The day takes you through the Valley of the Kings where you'll walk past ancient tombs carved into the rock face. From there, you'll see the Colossi of Memnon, two massive stone statues that stand guard over the desert, and tour Hatshepsut's mortuary temple with its terraced colonnades. By afternoon, you'll board your 5-star Nile cruise for lunch and afternoon tea. Later, settle in for dinner and enjoy a belly dance show on deck as evening sets in.

- Day 2
Luxor
After breakfast on the boat, you'll head to Luxor's East Bank with your guide to explore the temples there. The Temple of Luxor, built from Nubian sandstone, shows intricate carvings and towering columns from Pharaonic times. Then you'll tour Karnak Temple, a massive complex that's one of Egypt's most visited archaeological sites with its own sacred lake and forest of columns. Back on the cruise by midday for lunch and afternoon tea. The evening brings a disco party on board, so you'll have music and dancing if you're interested.

- Day 3
Edfu to Kom Ombo
After eating breakfast, the cruise sails to Edfu where you'll disembark to visit the Ptolemaic Temple of Horus, one of the best preserved temples along the Nile. You'll wander through ancient settlements in the area before returning to the boat. Later, you'll cruise to Kom Ombo while enjoying lunch onboard. Upon arrival, you'll tour the Kom Ombo Temple, an unusual double temple dedicated to both the crocodile-god Sobek and the falcon-god Haroeris, and it has fascinating connections to sacred crocodiles in ancient times. Back on the boat for dinner and a galabeya party where you can try on traditional Egyptian clothing.

- Day 4
Aswan
The cruise reaches Aswan where you'll start the day visiting the Unfinished Obelisk sitting in the granite quarry, a massive stone that never left its birthplace. From there, you'll tour the High Dam, which controls the Nile's flow, and then head to the Temple of Philae dedicated to the goddess Isis. This temple can only be reached by boat, so you'll take a short ferry to reach it. Lunch happens back on the cruise ship, then you'll have afternoon tea before settling in for dinner as the day ends.

- Day 5
Aswan to Cairo
An optional early morning trip to Abu Simbel can be arranged if you request it, featuring two colossal rock-cut temples. After breakfast, you'll disembark and transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo. Once you land at Cairo airport, someone from the tour company will meet you and take you to your accommodation, bringing your trip to a close.
