If you only read the first part of this review, know this: Tarek is an incredibly knowledgeable tour guide who will enhance your experience in Egypt and cater to your interests. He was one of the biggest positives of our trip, and I can almost assure you that he will be the same for your trip. Tarek was our tour guide for our group of four during our four-day Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor and guided us through the Aswan High Dam, Philae Temple, Abu Simbel, Horus Temple, Kom Ombo, Colossus of Memnon, Valley of the Kings, Hateshphut Temple, Karnak Temple, and finally Luxor Temple. While some of the stops are short, like the High Dam and Colossus of Memnon, the other stops were longer and more detailed. Tarek has been doing this for over 25 years, and his experience shows. He emphasizes the facts and uses them to tell the story. Multiple times we could see him clarify a story by showing us the segment of heiroglyphs that told that story and reading it off. Tarek has guided many people over the years, and if you come to him with base-level knowledge, he will meet you at your level. I recommend you do some research beforehand though, as his knowledge is much deeper and well worth your time.

We just finished our cruise from Luxor to Aswan. We were very happy with this agency, they were in constant contact with us, and the best thing: we moved around alone with our own guides in the most comfortable cars, it was an excellent experience without depending on going to the places in a group; the guides were very good (we highlight Ibrahima in Aswan and Mahmud in Abul Simbel), good cars and very punctual when picking us up. If you are thinking of embarking on a cruise you will appreciate this personal and friendly treatment. Thank you very much.
