- PSPuneet Kumar· January 1st, 2025Hotels in Cairo were not 4* as promised in the itinerary, dietary requirements were not taken care of, two of the meals provided were packed - one had meat in it and the other was just too dry with only water to go with it, we were dropped at Hurghada airport one hour earlier than airport would allow us in and it was very cold, one transfer vehicle never arrived even 30 mins after we exited airport in the cold and we had to take local taxi instead at our own expense, we were told pick up time for hot air balloon is at 5.20 am whereas actual time was 5.50am, Nile cruise started 1.5 hr late which meant we had much less time at each monument and had to rush through most visits, guides were a mixed bag - 3 of them were excellent and the rest just average. Hot air balloon actual charge when booked locally is 100 USD and we were made to pay 120 USD when booked with the tour - Ithaca told us that 20% markup is for pre-booking online.Show moreTrip date: December 2024

Hotel Options: Cairo Accommodation includes King Pyramids View or Saray Pyramids and Museum View Hotel. If you arrive late on May 12th, we'll provide airport pickup and ensure a smooth check-in. If you prefer a 5-star hotel upgrade like Hilton Nile tower, the cost is 150 USD per person per night. Hurghada Accommodation is a 5-star hotel with all-inclusive meals. Nile Cruise is also 5-star, with all meals included. Breakfast is included at the hotel. Lunch is included during guided tours. Dinner is not included in Cairo, but can be added for an additional cost.
