What people love about Nile River Cruises in January
- Legend of the Nile: 6-Days Tour for 5 stars Nile Cruise Aswan to Luxor & Sleeper Train Round Trip From Cairo
Every aspect of the tour was well organised from the transfers, transport and accommodation to the fantastic guide and side trips. Thank you to all the friendly staff at Egypt Best Holidays!
- 5 * Deluxe Nile River Cruise from Cairo include flights - 3 Nights 4 Days
Great experience and even exceeded the expectations. Cruise crew was so helpful and attentive to our needs that I would recommend to anyone. We booked our Nile cruise through Holiday in and had Ahmed as tour guide. What a great combination and all went so smoothly and their communication regarding the logistics was great. Ahmed is such a great and well informed guide and assisted us with obtaining student tickets for our children at all sites. The cruise was super (food, pool, sundeck) we really enjoyed it
- River Nile Dream - 4 Days from Luxor to Aswan (5 Stars Nile Cruise & Sightseeing)
My first time in Egypt, and first time doing a tour of this kind. The guide my group had was Khaled. Khaled was extremely knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what he showed/told us. He provided some great explanations which really helped to gain a better understanding and appreciation of what it is we were witnessing. He also gave us free time after the explanations to explore on our own to help let the information and sights sink in further. The boat, however, was a mixed bag. The rooms were very nice and very comfy, the boat itself was quite good to be on for the few days and the food as relatively good. The service from some members of staff however was not as good. I had an issue with my room where the safe was constantly beeping and making noises to stop me from sleeping/enjoying the relaxing time, and when I spoke to the reception real about this, nobody came to sort this. It resulted in me having to place the safe outside of my room, where it was left right up until I checked out, where it still remained. I would say the schedule on the boat was quite confusing as well, as we had lots of free time on the boat, but very little time to explore the temples in comparison to their size. This lead to some rushed exploration during our free time at the temples. I would also like to add that it does not say here on Tour Radar that tickets for the monuments and temples were not included. With how much the trip cost, I assumed that the tickets would have been included, so I was very surprised when I was informed that I had to pay for these myself. Overall, Khaled was a great guide to have due to his knowledge and passion, and the boat had some positives and some negatives. Thankfully though, a good trip/tour all round.
