We especially enjoyed our day visiting the the Pyramids of Giza with Sara. The Temple of Philae, the Abu Simbel optional tour with our guide Khaled Mohamed and driver Milsha. Edfu Temple was amazing out guide Emad (Emat) was a wonderful story teller with a wonderful since of humour. My only complaint is it was extremely rushed. We were running to finish the Temple as we only had an hour to visit while making a quick stop on the Nile Cruise, 2 hours would have been. The Nile cruise was fantastic and I highly recommend it. Our Luxor guide was also excellent and went out of his way to make the tour enjoyable. Hurghada blew us away and exceeded our expectations, the Customer relations manager, Marina was very accommodating, and went above and beyond to make our stay special and memorable. In fact all the staff were amazing. The chefs and waiting do a great job, also.Show more

In advance we had good contact with Eyad, who provided us with information. We were well taken care of immediately upon arrival at the airport in Cairo by the people employed by Itaca Holiday. Transportation to various locations was well arranged and always on time, which was very pleasant. The tour guide traveled with us from Aswan on the Nile cruise. Waleed is a pleasant person, helpful and gives good explanations. The service at the hotels was good. Especially the last hotel in Hurghada was of high quality, where we had a wonderful rest. It was an intensive trip, especially for children and the elderly. The excursions are early in the morning. However, we can look back on a well organized trip and it was more than worth it. Trip date: April 2025 - MPMRS C· April 21st, 2025Please note I shall be placing a similar review via trip adviser due to my experiences regarding tourrader. I confirmed this Egypt 10 day tour via Tourrader as I was already booked via you for Vietnam Cambodia & Loas for 19days in November this year. At the time of booking the Egypt trip I was also going to confirm a 4 week trip with for Brazil Peru etc in Feb '26, however as you refused to give me the $100 credit. My experience on the Egypt torurader trip would have been the decider to use you again in the future. And I am sorry to say I most probably will not. So Egypt was overall a postive trip in the following catagories:- • English guides spot on • Covered all the destinations we were scheduled on the itinerary • Eyad our guide leader was helpful too The negatives unfortunately outweighed the plus points:- • weeks before the trip, no on from Tourrader would answer our detailed question. We requested to choose and review the hotels and the Nile ship. No one ever got back. I realised why... as the tours were outsources to local Egyptian tour companies who were not at all good at communicators. • They changed our itnerary, and never kept us informed what was happening from one day to the next. All the morning was very early starts some as early as 3am. 2 meal were missed and we had to find our own food • we spent 1 whole day in a car to get from Aswan to Hurguda. what a waste and painful day. At our age with 2 toilet breaks. This is the reason why we choose to fly from Cairo to Aswan so we would not have to spend long travel days in cars or train. • we were never given the 5* hotel in Luxor instead put on the Nile cruise early. The Neil Jewel ship was far from 5* and a very old run down ship. No entertainment and why did we have to pay for water tea, coffee on a 5* ship. • Hurgada hotel was not 5* service and we struggled with vegetarian food. Finally I would like some feed back to my review and what are you offering toward my next trip in November. I need assurance my itinerary will not change. Prior to booking we got good recommendations and prompt answers to our questions on what to potentially upgrade and which additional excursions to book. All the arrangements from hotels, domestic flight, Nile cruise, guides and transfers were excellent. Communication during our stay was easy through WhatsApp, and Eyad texted me throughout the stay to let me know exact pick up times and meeting points with the guides and to check that we were doing well. All the guides we had were very knowledgeable and pleasant! We learnt so much, and all the arrangements were well organised with good drivers and good quality vans. The cruise boat was really nice. We had two cabins close to each other, the interior of the boat was nice, and the food was really good and varied. We had also included hot air balloon in Luxor, the visit to Abu Simbel and the visit to the Nubian village. All very good. The visit to the Nubian village is a must, because the scenary along the Nile is so worth it! We can highly recommend this trip and Itaca Holiday. The booking through TourRadar was also very convenient. We normally do a lot of booking ourselves, but this trip is more complicated to organise and we were really happy that we trusted Itaca Holiday to organise our Egypt adventure!
