  The tour was very well organised overall, except we were asked to move our trip one day forward which I felt the company could have managed and communicated, better. We especially enjoyed our day visiting the the Pyramids of Giza with Sara. The Temple of Philae, the Abu Simbel optional tour with our guide Khaled Mohamed and driver Milsha. Edfu Temple was amazing out guide Emad (Emat) was a wonderful story teller with a wonderful since of humour. My only complaint is it was extremely rushed. We were running to finish the Temple as we only had an hour to visit while making a quick stop on the Nile Cruise, 2 hours would have been. The Nile cruise was fantastic and I highly recommend it. Our Luxor guide was also excellent and went out of his way to make the tour enjoyable. Hurghada blew us away and exceeded our expectations, the Customer relations manager, Marina was very accommodating, and went above and beyond to make our stay special and memorable. In fact all the staff were amazing. The chefs and waiting do a great job, also.

  Please note I shall be placing a similar review via trip adviser due to my experiences regarding tourrader. I confirmed this Egypt 10 day tour via Tourrader as I was already booked via you for Vietnam Cambodia & Loas for 19days in November this year. At the time of booking the Egypt trip I was also going to confirm a 4 week trip with for Brazil Peru etc in Feb '26, however as you refused to give me the $100 credit. My experience on the Egypt torurader trip would have been the decider to use you again in the future. And I am sorry to say I most probably will not. So Egypt was overall a postive trip in the following catagories:- • English guides spot on • Covered all the destinations we were scheduled on the itinerary • Eyad our guide leader was helpful too The negatives unfortunately outweighed the plus points:- • weeks before the trip, no on from Tourrader would answer our detailed question. We requested to choose and review the hotels and the Nile ship. No one ever got back. I realised why... as the tours were outsources to local Egyptian tour companies who were not at all good at communicators. • They changed our itnerary, and never kept us informed what was happening from one day to the next. All the morning was very early starts some as early as 3am. 2 meal were missed and we had to find our own food • we spent 1 whole day in a car to get from Aswan to Hurguda. what a waste and painful day. At our age with 2 toilet breaks. This is the reason why we choose to fly from Cairo to Aswan so we would not have to spend long travel days in cars or train. • we were never given the 5* hotel in Luxor instead put on the Nile cruise early. The Neil Jewel ship was far from 5* and a very old run down ship. No entertainment and why did we have to pay for water tea, coffee on a 5* ship. • Hurgada hotel was not 5* service and we struggled with vegetarian food. Finally I would like some feed back to my review and what are you offering toward my next trip in November. I need assurance my itinerary will not change. I want to view all my hotels and have the change them if they are not up to standard.

  Our trip through Egypt was absolutely amazing ! Unlike conventional tours where there is one guide and one driver throughout, Itaca arranged different guides and drivers for each location which added a sense of adventure to each region. Each guide we had was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Thanks to Eyad and his team, we have a much deeper appreciation for Egypt and it's people, and especially for the incredibly rich history of ancient times. A truly remarkable and unforgettable journey which I recommend 100%

  Our family of 5 had an amazing 10 day trip organized by Itaca Holiday. Prior to booking we got good recommendations and prompt answers to our questions on what to potentially upgrade and which additional excursions to book. All the arrangements from hotels, domestic flight, Nile cruise, guides and transfers were excellent. Communication during our stay was easy through WhatsApp, and Eyad texted me throughout the stay to let me know exact pick up times and meeting points with the guides and to check that we were doing well. All the guides we had were very knowledgeable and pleasant! We learnt so much, and all the arrangements were well organised with good drivers and good quality vans. The cruise boat was really nice. We had two cabins close to each other, the interior of the boat was nice, and the food was really good and varied. We had also included hot air balloon in Luxor, the visit to Abu Simbel and the visit to the Nubian village. All very good. The visit to the Nubian village is a must, because the scenary along the Nile is so worth it! We can highly recommend this trip and Itaca Holiday. The booking through TourRadar was also very convenient. We normally do a lot of booking ourselves, but this trip is more complicated to organise and we were really happy that we trusted Itaca Holiday to organise our Egypt adventure! It was beyond our expectations! Thanks to all!

  They are pretty good in organizing a tour for us in a very close time. But they are also very very messy. They didn't inform on the website that the cruise will only leave on the certain time. Some of most tours inform that. In the end because the time is not permitted we can't do our sleeper train and they change it to flight, and we didn't do any visit in Aswan either. They added so many options that the tour itself becomes much more expensive than expected. But overall the tour itself is pretty okay, we get to see a lot of things but very short time each. Prepare to wake up at 4 or 5 am every morning to see all the planned touristic places. Taking tour means having no rest or sleep till late, except when we are in Hurghada. We change the tour guide every places or so, we like some of the tour guide but not all. Sometimes some of them only memorize and repeat the same thing, and after so many visits to temples, it all becomes repetitive. The food on the cruise and the resort are okay, they are edible, but nothing special, not much Egyptian food, the fruits are quite horrible. Drinks on the cruise is not included, you will need to buy bottles of water. Drinks in Hurghada is included, except alcoholic drinks. Dendera temple, Abu Simbel, and Hot air baloon are the most amazing ones, and of course these are the add ons. Also Valley of The Kings, where you can see many beautiful colorful tombs are pretty cool, some of the tombs are also add ons. The temple of Hatesphut is also pretty amazing, she's one of my favorite Queen. Also in the Egyptian museum in Cairo, try to spend more time than in the souk itself. So many interesting thing that the guide passed, I felt like we were hurried because again no info on the timing of the cruise on their and we had to run to see everything and to catch the cruise on the next day.

  The communications with Tourradar and Itaca Tours, the provider, was excellent. When we had a question, Mahmoud answered almost immediately. The quality of the hotels was generally okay. The Nile cruise boat was a little tired. There were some boats that were superior. The food on the boat was only okay, although many of the guests seemed to like the food more than us. We didn’t watch the entertainment because we had many early morning departures. We were always given the details for the day. That was very helpful. We saw all of the highlights of being in Egypt. The resort in Hurghada was very good. There isn’t much of a beach, but plenty of swimming pools, if you don’t mind cold water. All in all, it was a good trip. Just be prepared to pay for each entry fee, although they weren’t terribly expensive. They do add up, though.
