- Michele· September 10th, 2023Automatic translation available in English. View in EnglishWe enjoyed the safari trip very much. We were extraordinarily lucky to be the only ones on the safari trip because no one else had booked at the same time. Sam, our guide, led the trip very well, was always approachable for us and could tell ums many interesting details about the country and the people. The accommodations are all good and clean, especially excellent were the two nights in the Sunset Lodge, which was absolutely top from the location and the food. Here, with a bit of luck, you can sit around the campfire while the animals walk by a few meters away from you. If you want to see a lot of animals, you will also get your money's worth during the visit to Kruger Park. We would recommend the trip without reservation.Show moreAcacia Adventure Holidays commented on this reviewDear Michele, Thank you very much for your positive feedback. - LVLynda· March 29th, 2019Great experience. Simon kept us well informed of the days itinerary with timings and locations — loved his personal wake up calls. He also has eagle eyes!!! He made just enough potty stops on those long drives. Very memorable trip. Thank you, Simon — thoroughly enjoyed it!!!!!Show moreAcacia Adventure Holidays commented on this reviewDear Lynda, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. - AAlessandroAntonelli· July 24th, 2018As for the Tour, the level is "easy". Guides and vehicles are not always up to standard while meals and accommodation are of a good standard. There is no contact with the people, we are too closed in the "cages" reserved for tourists. For those who for the first time travel to Africa and want to get an idea I recommend it, while if you want something more, even with greater contact with people, maybe it is better to change agency.Show moreAcacia Adventure Holidays commented on this reviewDear Alessandro, Thank you for your post. We are glad you found the tour level easy as we do our best to ensure our tours are not too difficult for either Africa fanatics or first time visitors. Acacia tours include at least one National Park, as well... Show moreTrip date: May 2018

Asked on October 26th, 2022Do you offer this tour (Kruger Park to Vic Falls) also in the other order? For certain reasons I would like to strat in Vic and end in Kruger/Pretoria/Joburg. The date doesn't need to be the 5th of Nov. Any date till 18th of Nov would work.
- Acacia Adventure HolidaysOperator•Written October 2022
Regrettably the Kruger & Victoria Falls tour operates in just the one direction (from Pretoria to Victoria Falls), however we do have our Okavango Wilderness Trail tour (7 days or 9 days) which you should be able to see on Tour Radar's portal/ website. Next guaranteed available departure is ex Vic Falls 24 Nov (9 days) or 26Nov (7 days).

Asked on March 25th, 2022Do you see Blyde River Canyon, Gods Window, Wonder view, the Three Rondawels and Bourkes Luck Potholes on this tour too?
- Acacia Adventure HolidaysOperator•Written March 2022
The tour departs Pretoria at 7am on Day 1. We do suggest clients arrive at least one day prior to the tour departure date. We do offer pre and post tour accommodation and airport transfers at additional costs. While we do only spend one day at Kruger National Park, we do spend the whole day there. Waking early, we board 4x4 game viewing vehicles for an intense but rewarding day in Kruger National Park. We game drive morning and afternoon with a break during the middle of the day for lunch (when wildlife is usually less active).

Traveler•Written March 2022If I arrive on 20th in Johannesburg in the evening, is it then possible to have a morning transfer on the 21st from Johannesburg to Pretoria?
- Acacia Adventure HolidaysOperator•Written March 2022
This tour does indeed stop at the Blyde River Canyon Viewing point which overlooks the Three Rondavels, however the driving route does not include God's Window, Wonderview and Bourkes Potholes.
- Acacia Adventure HolidaysOperator•Written March 2022
A morning transfer is possible but it will have to be very early in the morning to avoid the Johannesburg traffic and make the commute to Pretoria, which is at best an hour long. We would need to know your collection location to better assess the collection time.
