From the pyramids to the temples, passing by the sea and through charming local shops. Amazing accommodation (exceeded expectations based on cost of your) and transport around the country was on safe and air conditioned buses with excellent drivers. The overnight train to Aswan was good fun (a bit of an adventure - long and noisy but fun nonetheless - upgrade to flight if this isn't for you). The sites we saw were out of this world. Highly recommend doing the Abu Simbel trip as an add on - this place is a must see. Egypt is a wonderful country. Felt safe from start to finish. Our guide was responsible for everything great about the trip. Mina Malik is a wonderful man and really made the trip for us. Organised everything so well and went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and learning about his beautiful country. He is passionate about his job and that is evident by how he treated us throughout. We learnt so much and will always remember his stories and the time we spent with him in Egypt. The final days at the resort in Hurghada were great to relax and rest. It's an action packed week with lots of time travelling and early starts so be prepared (worth it though). The accommodation was amazing - better than I had imagined - transport was comfortable on air conditioned mini buses with excellent drivers. The overnight train from Cairo to Aswan was interesting and an experience we will look back on with fun memories - not completely comfortable but was all apart of the adventure. The overnight stay on the Felluca and cruising down the Nile was an amazing experience. We even had the chance to swim in the Nile which is as lovely. All of the temples and tombs were out of this world. Seeing the history and the things I had read about in books since I was a kid. Unreal. Abu simbel is a must see so do pay the extra to do this. We didn't do the hot air balloon but others did and they enjoyed it. Finishing off with some relaxing days at a resort in Hurghada was great with added Scuba diving (this was great and I highly recommend) Our tour guide, Mina Malik, was simply amazing. What a top bloke - loves his country and is passionate about his job as a tour guide. His ability to tell stories and teach the history of Egypt made the tour great from start to finish. He made us feel safe from day one and all the support staff along the way were top notch. It was well organised and smooth. Be prepared for early starts and long drives but well worth it and great value for money. - LMLance· July 7th, 2025What a trip. I must say everything exceeded our expectations. The hotels were wonderful. The buses were air conditioned and drivers were excellent. The overnight train to Aswan is an interesting ride and as long as you're open minded is all apart of the adventure. The temples and the sites we saw were out of this world. The Felucca trip another highlight - swimming in the Nile and spending the night on board watching the sun go down was wonderful. Our last days in Hurghada with added scuba diving was a great and relaxing way to finish the tour. Our last day in Cairo before flying home we managed to visit the market and Cairo museum where you see some tremendous pieces of history. Finally, our tour guide Mina Malik was such an amazing person who made us feel safe though the whole trip. His stories and knowledge of Egypt and the history of his country made the trip better than I imagined it would be. You could book your departure flight at any time on day 9 of the tour. Actually, day 1 and 9 of the tour have no activities except for the airport transfers.

The age range is flexible and isn't restricted at all. However, the age restriction is set only due to the overnight stay on the Nile Felucca. The Nile Felucca is a small sailing boat that has no private rooms nor proper bathroom. Everyone sleeps side by side using mattresses and blankets, besides it has only a basic toilet. If you are fine with this, you are more than welcome to book this tour.
