How does it work?
72 hours before your departure, we’ll email you instructions on how to redeem your eSIM. Redeeming is only possible through the TourRadar app, so download the app if you haven’t already!
Important: Before redeeming your eSIM, please check if your device is compatible with eSIMs.

How to redeem your eSIM
1. Download the TourRadar app and log in
2. On the app’s home screen, tap on “Redeem eSIM” (also possible in the Menu)
3. Install the eSIM. Installation options:
→ a) Automatic Setup: Certain phones (Apple, Pixel, some Android devices) automatically navigate to settings with pre-filled eSIM details
→ b) Manual Setup: Alternatively, scan the QR code you received in your email

- In your phone’s settings, search for SIM management
- Tap on “Top up”
- You will be redirected to Celitech’s portal. Log in using your TourRadar email
- Purchase additional data

Which devices support eSIMs?
Your device must be unlocked (not carrier-locked). View the list of devices that support eSIM.
When can I activate my eSIM?
Within 72 hours of departure.
How long does the eSIM remain active?
Once activated, your eSIM remains active for up to 30 days after your trip finishes. So, if you’re planning to stay in the country after your trip, We’ve got you covered!

Please use the same email you used for your TourRadar booking. If the booking was made using an anonymous Apple sign-in, please use that specific alias.
The email field is pre-filled with the correct email, so modifying this field might cause errors.
What services does the eSIM provide? Does it include a local number?
The eSIM provides cellular data only. It does not include a local number for standard calls or SMS.
You can use data-based communication apps like WhatsApp, FaceTime, iMessage, WeChat, etc.What happens when I run out of data?
You will receive email/SMS notifications prompting you to top up your existing eSIM so that you can continue using the service without interruption.
Can I purchase additional eSIMs?
Yes, you can purchase another eSIM for a co-traveler in the Celitech portal.
Is the eSIM only available when booking through the TourRadar app?
No. All bookers are eligible for the eSIM. However, the eSIM can only be redeemed through the TourRadar app.
I booked my tour through the website. Will I also receive an email about redeeming the eSIM?
Yes, 72 hours before your departure, you will receive an email that explains the steps to redeem your eSIM. Please note that you can only redeem the eSIM through the TourRadar app.
Is the eSIM only provided to the lead traveler, or can co-travelers receive one as well?
The free eSIM is only provided for the lead traveler (who made the booking). However, your co-traveler can purchase an additional eSim through the Celitech portal.
Can I choose a different eSIM region if I’m traveling to multiple countries?
Yes, there are several plans that cover multiple regions and should cover all reasonable use cases. However, you might not be covered in certain cases—for example, if you travel from the US to Asia. In such cases, please contact Celitech’s support.
My device doesn’t support eSIMs. Is there anything I can do?
You are free to use the eSIM on another compatible device by logging in with the email address you used for your TourRadar booking. Unfortunately, there is no compensation if your phone is incompatible.
