Itinerary
- Day 1
Colombo
Your flight lands at Colombo International Airport where someone from the hotel meets you. The drive to your hotel takes about an hour through Sri Lanka's largest city. Colombo sits on the western coast and serves as the country's business hub. You'll settle in and rest at your luxury hotel for the night.
- Day 2
Colombo to Sigiriya
After breakfast you can spend time shopping around Colombo or check out the mix of old and new attractions like the Museum, Dutch Hospital, BMICH, Independence Square, Clock Tower, and Galle Front if you're interested. Later you'll head toward Sigiriya (about 5 hours). On the way you'll stop at Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to spend time with the elephants. You stay overnight in Sigiriya.

Sigiriya to Kandy
Following breakfast you'll climb Sigiriya Rock, one of Sri Lanka's most visited landmarks. Locals call it the eighth wonder of the world and it's an ancient royal residence with important historical significance. Later in the day you head to Kandy, stopping at Dambulla Cave Temple and Matale Spice Garden along the route. The evening includes cultural performances, and you stay overnight in Kandy.

Kandy
After breakfast you tour Kandy starting with the Tooth Relic Temple, the final capital of Sri Lankan rulers and a World Heritage Site. The city carries deep traditions and histories. You'll also visit art centers and gem shops. In the afternoon you check out Peradeniya Botanical Garden, which the British originally created with 147 acres of varied trees, plants, and flowers. You return to your hotel in Kandy by evening.

Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast you travel to Nuwara Eliya (about 2.5 hours), nicknamed 'Little England.' It's Sri Lanka's highest mountain town and coolest region, 150 km from Colombo. You visit a tea plantation and factory plus a waterfall. Afternoon activities include a city tour of Gregory Park, Hakggala Botanical Garden, and Seetha Amman Temple with nice mountain views. Your driver takes you to your Nuwara Eliya hotel.

Ella to Yala

Yala
Morning brings a jeep safari at Yala Wildlife Park in a 4x4 luxury vehicle with an English-speaking driver. Yala National Park sits in southeastern Sri Lanka in the Uva and Hambantota areas. During the safari you might see wild elephants, leopards, other wildlife, and birds. After the safari ends you head to Mirissa in the afternoon to relax at the beach and spend the night.

Mirissa
Morning in Mirissa gives you the option to go whale watching or relax on the beach. Whale and dolphin watching is a popular activity here and a good way to spend part of your Sri Lanka holiday. You return to your hotel after the tour or once you're finished with the beach.

Mirissa to Galle
After breakfast you travel to Galle (about 1 hour), a seaside town 116 km from Colombo where the street and railway run along Sri Lanka's southern coast. In the afternoon you tour Galle including Galle Fort Holland, the lighthouse, and other spots. Walking around the fort in the evening is a nice way to spend your time before staying the night in Galle.

Galle to Colombo
You visit the Hikkaduwa and Bentota coastal areas including a stop at Bentota turtle hatchery and a river safari. Once these activities wrap up, your driver takes you to the airport for your departure based on your flight time.
