What people love about Italy Tours in April
- Northern Italy Tour (Rome to Milan)
Our trip was delayed for a year due to Covid and during that time we were always in contact. Alex was available to us during our journey and extremely helpful in answering our questions or concerns. He created a smart agenda for us that met our desires and likes. We couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome of our trip to Portugal and Spain. It was magical! Rosa, our guide, was excellent!!! Her level of knowledge and responsiveness were both exceptional and her honesty and integrity were obvious in our interaction. All of these attributes were very much appreciated. The only thing that could have been better was if we had just some more alone time and a day or two less activity than we had . At the end of the day, we had great, well-located boutique hotels, wonderful drivers, excellent guides, and the confidence of an extremely responsive tour operator Eskapas I definitely recommend this trip.
- Best of Sicily - 8 Days (Small Group Tour)
Great tour hotel in taoromina not senior citizen friendly though centrally placed
- Amalfi Coast Walking - Agriturismo
It was the first trip where a new trip leader was being trained to take over the trip. Andy and Matteau worked well together and I would be happy to have either as tour leader on any future trip.

In Florence the "Scoppio del Carro" fills the city with medieval pageantry on Easter Sunday. Wine enthusiasts gather in Verona for Vinitaly while Sicily welcomes spring with floral displays in Noto and Taormina. Northern cities like Venice cool down to around 50°F in the evenings making layers essential for comfort.
What are the best day trips to take in Italy during April?
The pleasant spring weather opens up excellent day trip options from major cities. Visitors can easily reach Capri from Sorrento Siena from Florence or the glass-making island of Murano from Venice. What are the best places to visit in Italy during April?
The spring season highlights Sicily the Amalfi Coast and key cities like Rome and Florence. Travelers can hike the Path of the Gods along the Amalfi Coast with clear views or explore Sicily's Mount Etna and Temple Valley without crowds.
