In Rome I got cheated out of the Collisium tours. Apparently I was sent an email that meet up time changed by 1/2 hour, instead of 3 now changed to 230pm. And to confirm I received email. Well I didn’t check my emails so I was not able to confirm. On my way to the collisium I got call from tour guide asking where I was. She insisted tour begins at 230. I told I am looking at itinerary she she NO señora. I arrived at collisium at 239, to no avail, I called tour guide she did not pick up. I think an important change in itinerary should have been a phone call or at least a follow up to email. That was disappointing.Show more

I know that we got a refund for Pompeii, but when I told the tour guide that we would like to go ,when some passengers were going, she replied you may go tomorrow, but we went to Capri and Naples the next day and back to Rome. The res t of the tour was with 57 passengers when we read it was up to30. Florence was good ,the only 4 star hotel was in Sorrento, the one in Venice was a glorified hostel .
