A lot of walking on cobblestones and stairs made it challenging to older people. The points of interest were great. The cities we visited were great. Our Guide Stephano was great. I only wish he would have given us a written page of restaurants and sites he recommended. Walter the busdriver was very skilled. We enjoyed the trip.

The tour was very well organized. Both our tour guide Stefano and our coach driver Luigi were always on time, courteous and attentive. The tour was informative and more importantly, fun. The hotels were better than most and located in great areas. I’d give it an A+ in EVERY way.

The Carani tours were very good, organised everything well The guides in Rome were especially good,Francesca and Rita, but the tour guide of all the tour,Patricia was not very attentive to elderly people. You said this tour is suitable for people from the age of 1 to 90which is wrong,it's a tour for very fit people

Our guide Nancy wad excellent!! She was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful. There were many early starts which was tough for some travelers. It was not clear that we had to pay city tax at hotels separately.

Overall the tour was good. However, the first night we toured Rome and then was told to find our own way back to the hotel!! We were exhausted after the long flight to Rome, then the tour, then had to find our own way back. I didn't feel like we were very well taken care of. Also, not everybody on the tour stayed at the same hotel which was weird. There wasn't any farewell dinner or social time to say goodbye and get addresses etc. I like tours that I feel like I am very well taken care of. This tour didn't do that. Sabrina, our tour guide said she could book extra tours if we would like. I asked her to book the colosseum three days ahead. She called one day ahead and there were no reservations available, so I had to call and book it myself.

Disappointing overall. We seem to have been transferred from one company to another. The itinerary was a good idea but every guided tour was rushed, especially the Vatican. St Martin was a decent hotel but the others were clean but poor quality. Leaving the hotel before breakfast on some days wasn't such a bad idea considering the quality of the food available. The guide was blunt at times. The coach was basic, eg no loo or refreshments on board. We loved what we saw and will go back again soon but not on a guided tour.
