We were exhausted after the long flight to Rome, then the tour, then had to find our own way back. I didn't feel like we were very well taken care of. Also, not everybody on the tour stayed at the same hotel which was weird. There wasn't any farewell dinner or social time to say goodbye and get addresses etc. I like tours that I feel like I am very well taken care of. This tour didn't do that. Sabrina, our tour guide said she could book extra tours if we would like. I asked her to book the colosseum three days ahead. - MMMark· May 26th, 2024Disappointing overall. We seem to have been transferred from one company to another. The itinerary was a good idea but every guided tour was rushed, especially the Vatican. St Martin was a decent hotel but the others were clean but poor quality. Leaving the hotel before breakfast on some days wasn't such a bad idea considering the quality of the food available. The guide was blunt at times. The coach was basic, eg no loo or refreshments on board.
