Itinerary
- Day 1
Catania to Taormina
Your driver picks you up at Catania airport and takes you to Taormina. After settling in, you'll join a local guide for a food and wine tour through town, sampling local specialties and learning about Sicilian traditions. By evening, you'll have time to walk around and get a feel for the place.

- Day 2
Taormina
Following breakfast, your guide takes you to the mountain villages of Savoca and Forza d'Agro, where scenes from The Godfather were shot. You'll have an aperitif at a local bar and eat pasta on a scenic terrace. Back in Taormina, an easy walking tour shows you the Greek Theatre and takes you through local streets and architecture.

- Day 3
Mount Etna
You head to Mount Etna and reach Refuge Sapienza at 1,900 meters/6,234 feet. There's time to walk on old lava flows and see the extinct Silvestri craters. If interested, you can pay extra to go up to 3,000 meters/9,843 feet by cable car and Jeep with an Alpine Guide. Later, you visit a winery on Etna's slopes for tasting, appetizers, and lunch.

Taormina to Syracuse
Your guide leads an easy walking tour through Noto, a UNESCO baroque site, where you'll try the famous Modica chocolate. Then you head to Marzamemi, a fishing village where lunch features fresh fish with sea views. By evening, you'll be settled in Syracuse.

Syracuse
A local guide takes you on a 1.5-hour walking tour of Ortigia, Syracuse's old town. You'll see the Apollo Temple, walk through colorful Via Cavour, visit the Jewish district from the 3rd century BC, and reach Duomo Square with its cathedral and Church of St. Lucy. After learning about local lifestyle, the rest of the day is yours to explore on your own.
