A lot of time was wasted because the guide had to recite everything in 3 languages. Many from our group would have liked more time at Mt Etna to take the cable car to top. There was only I recommendation from me which the whole tour group agreed on. The day we returned to Catania we went to see Mt. Etna, we all agreed that the stay there was way too short, and we would have gladly given up on the Beehive and Honey tasting experience, which we could do in Australia. So, tell the Italian/ Sicilian organisers to EXTEND Mt. Etna Visit and remove the Beehive visit. PLEASEShow more

The tour leader, Alessio Puglisi, was very good, and the local guides were also excellent and made the narration enjoyable. As an area for improvement, they suggest making the lunches more varied because four of the five days were the same (macaroni with swordfish prepared the same way). Rita really looked after us and made us feel special and cared for. Sicily was amazing and we were taken to the most incredible sights. The tour was extremely good value for money and the hotels were very good. I read a previous review where the customer complained about the bus not dropping them at the hotel door. This is because the buses can't access some narrow streets and we never walked more than about 100 metres. Everything was smoothly organised. Our tour guide Lorenzo in Agrigento was outstanding. In Palermo Paolo was excellent. Hotels were good, but dinners were served very late, and dishes were almost identical.
