  • Amalfi Coast Walking - Agriturismo reviewer 1
    · November 5th, 2025
Amalfi Coast Walking – Agriturismo This trip was an outstanding TourRadar experience from beginning to end. The itinerary was thoughtfully paced, combining spectacular coastal walks with time to enjoy the charm and culture of the Amalfi region. Each day brought something different — from sweeping sea views and lemon groves to welcoming hilltop villages and hidden pathways. The agriturismo stay added something truly special. The hosts were warm and generous, the meals were delicious and made with fresh local ingredients, and the setting among the terraces and olive trees felt wonderfully authentic. It was the perfect base to return to after a rewarding day’s walk. Our Explore leader Pete was exceptional — knowledgeable, professional, and passionate about the area. Their organisation, care for the group, and ability to share local insights made the trip both seamless and memorable. Beautifully run and full of variety, this is a superb trip for anyone who enjoys walking, great food, and a genuine taste of southern Italy. Thanks Margot

I really loved this tour. Our guide, Gennaro, was so friendly and very attentive to everyone’s needs. I thoroughly enjoyed the hiking, especially our last one, Walk of the Gods. How much would we walk each day

    Tour Details
    • Explore!OperatorWritten September 2025

This trip combines leisurely and moderate - graded walks with an average daily distance of 10km. You should be confident of your capability to enjoy the higher graded walks. Our farm stay is 600 metres above the Amalfi coast and much of the walking is along ancient paths and stairways. The sometimes lengthy ascents and descents along these routes - as well as often uneven surfaces - can be tough to navigate and put pressure on the knees. Expect some rocky and slippery surfaces, we'll be walking on all kinds of terrain from well - worn stone steps to rugged old mule trails. We recommend walking poles to help with the more challenging ascents and descents. If you're booking onto a July or August trip, be prepared to hike in temperatures of 35°c or more.

I have never traveled on a tour before. I will be travelling solo. I can't eat any dairy and I might require a bathtub due to health reasons. Is it possible to be accommodated? Other than that, any tips for this trip? I assume that I should be fit enough to walk the 10Km per day. What sort of gear should I buy? I'm thinking about signing up for one of the fall tours - late Sept/Oct. August would be too hot, right?

    • Explore!OperatorWritten June 2025

You will need to book your own international flights in and out of Naples airport. On day one of the trip, we offer two complimentary transfers from the airport to our agriturismo in San Lazzaro. The first will be at 1 pm (to join this one, your flight should arrive no later than 12.30 pm), and the second is at 7 pm (to join this one, your flight should arrive no later than 6.30 pm).

The trip is 8 days and 7 nights. Day 6 is a free day to visit Pompeii and the tour leader will you organize that locally as most people will likely also want to visit.

Could you please advise what the lodging option for a single supplement involves? And how many total in the group? And what's the average age? I'm looking at the October trip

    Single supplement

The single supplement would give you your own room and bathroom, so no roommate. The max group size is 16 but average is about 11.
