He is a natural leader, very organized, with a warm heart and great knowledge and pride in his Amalfi heritage. Asked on April 16th, 2025Could you confirm if the deal is already ended? When I checked it yesterday, it said the deal will end on 23/4 but noted that it is not on deal anymore. I was looking into book the tour in September.
- Explore!Operator•Written April 2025
We did have a Europe sale earlier this month however this has now finished. Unfortunately our departures in September are not on sale however if you are flexible with your dates we do have some selected departures in June & July that have a 10% discount.

Asked on April 11th, 2025Is it possible to use this day to spend an extra day in Positano instead, since Day 7 will be spent there?
- Explore!Operator•Written April 2025
On day 6 there is an optional activity to explore Pompeii, however if you do not wish to do this, you are welcome to spend your day as you like. On day 7 you will have the opportunity to spend a large portion of the day in Positano. The prepared walk on day 7 to Positano will begin early, around 8:30/9am and take around 5 hours. So once you get to Positano you will have the remainder of the day there until your transfer back in the evening.

Asked on December 25th, 2024What is the weather usually like in June and how difficult is the hiking?
- Explore!Operator•Written December 2024
The weather at that time of year is warm and pleasant. It can range from around 20-30 degrees and the humidity is low except for the occastional evenings. The hiking is graded as moderate as you cover on average 13 km every day.

Asked on November 29th, 2024I am a solo traveler and looking to share a twin room. What happens if there is not another solo traveler of the same sex to save a room with me? Will I have to pay a single supplement?
- Explore!Operator•Written November 2024
We tend to get a lot of solo travellers on our trips so it is usually not an issue having a roommate to share a twin-bedded room. If you wish to book a twin share room and not pay the single room supplement. In the rare case that we could not match you with another female client to share a two-bedded room you would end up with your own room and would not need to pay the single room supplement.

Asked on November 24th, 2024My wife and I are 73 years old in good condition. We both have Hiking experience. I have some need to rest briefly during climbing. Can we stop along the way? Do you recommend this trip? We are open to May or September dates in 2025. Your thoughts on best weather dates?
- Explore!Operator•Written November 2024
Is this the tour for you? This trip combines leisurely and moderate - graded walks with an average daily distance of 10km. You should be confident of your capability to enjoy the higher graded walks. Our farm stay is 600 metres above the Amalfi coast and much of the walking is along ancient paths and stairways. The sometimes lengthy ascents and descents along these routes - as well as often uneven surfaces - can be tough to navigate and put pressure on the knees. Expect some rocky and slippery surfaces, we'll be walking on all kinds of terrain from well - worn stone steps to rugged old mule trails. We recommend walking poles to help with the more challenging ascents and descents. Usually the Spring or Fall are the best times weather wise for this trip. We have departures weekly starting 29 March, 2025 and ending November 15th, 2025. If you're booking onto a July or August trip, be prepared to hike in temperatures of 35°c or more.

Asked on November 19th, 2024Although I was very interested to join this walking group tour, I'm afraid I can't walk more than three miles a day. I don't have any problem walking on flat surface, but steep grade and descent might be a challenge for me. Therefore, I should find an easy tour for me to join.
- Explore!Operator•Written November 2024
Yes this tour does have some hard walking that might not be suitable for you. You may like our trip Rome to Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast. This tour offers a lot less walking than the previous trip you were interested in.

Asked on November 12th, 2024If I want a day off, can we just not participate in every day hiking? I want to enjoy the towns around and might take a day off, especially the tougher days. 69 and moderately fit. Where do you get walking poles, bring them with us?
- Explore!Operator•Written November 2024
Yes, we stay at the same place all week so you can opt out on days if you wish. Best to bring your own walking poles.
