You can reach Palermo from Catania either with bus or private driver. I wouldn't suggest the train as it takes too much longer but if you would like the experience you could also valuate this possibility.

I can suggest you to take in consideration a longer tour (our 10 days Palermo/Palermo) and miss the firstt night, in this case I would excepcionally make a discount of EUR 50 per person or you could take in consideration our tour starting from Catania on Saturday, and maybe adding some extra nights
