He provided clear direction and shared culture, music and his knowledge with us. he was always happy to answer questions. Iceland also sells itself - so much to see you can never get bored. - VVickie· June 30th, 2025Great way to see the north as well as the south end of the island. SOOO many waterfalls all with their own shapes and colors. Our tour guide, Kalman, was great. As soon as we stopped somewhere, he was using his resources to figure out weather, road closures, whether the puffins had arrived, etc. We met such a nice group of people and had an excellent trip. Be aware that you do stay at different hotels each night (but we really liked all of them, and all had nice breakfasts in the morning), so pack light so you can easily move from one to the next!Show moreBusTravel Iceland commented on this reviewThank you for your fantastic review! Asked on June 2nd, 2025Any possibility to add northern lights chase tour this 6 days package?
- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written June 2025
Many of the hotels we use during our multi-day tours are situated in remote locations that are far away from light pollution, making them ideal for Northern Lights sightings. If the weather conditions are favorable, there's a high likelihood of seeing the enchanting display of the dancing Northern Lights during your tour with us. Most hotels also provide a Northern Lights wake-up call upon request at the frontdesk when the lights are observed. Please keep in mind that the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon, and we cannot guarantee their appearance, the best chances of seeing them occur between September and March when the skies are dark and clear.

- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written May 2025
The standard cancellation policy will apply. If cancelled 7 days or more before the tour, it's a full refund. If cancelled less than 7 days and more than 48 hours before the tour, then 50% refund. If cancelled within 48 hours before the tour, then no refund.
- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written May 2025
There are not bathrooms in the minibuses. There are toilettes available at almost all of the stops that we stop at, usually not more than an hour between access to toiletts.

Asked on March 10th, 2025What time does the tour begin on May 18? What time should I book the flight home on the last day of the tour? Is it possible to book a pre-tour night? What is the cost? Can I book an extra night in Reykjavik at the end of the tour? Are airport transfers included at the beginning and end of the tour?
- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written March 2025
The tour starts at 9 am on May 18th. It's possible to book pre- and post-night. The price for a Superior Double room at Hotel Cabin is 200 EUR per night. I recommend staying one night after the tour in Reykjavik, then you should be able to book the flight after. If you wish to fly in the same evening as the tour ends, then I would not recommend booking a flight before 9 pm. Airport transfers are not included, but it's easy to book them online or at the airport arrival terminal.

Asked on January 27th, 2025Will there be another sale on in the spring? Is the trip fully refundable by a certain date.

We don't have another sale planned at the moment for this tour. You could book the tour now, then we can adjust the date if needed later, free of charge. Also, our cancellation policy is quite flexible, you can cancel up to 7 days before the tour date and get a full refund.

Asked on January 23rd, 2025Are there rooms that will accommodate 3 people. we don't want to have to get 2 rooms
- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written January 2025
It is possible to request a triple room for this tour. Unfortunately, we can guarantee a triple room every night of the tour. If we can't get a triple room, you would get two rooms (1x Twin/DBL and 1x Single).

Traveler•Written January 2025I know I have to do it myself, are you saying I can't book extra nights at the place I'm staying in Reykjavik?
- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written January 2025
This tour doesn't include any hotels in Reykjavik. The tour starts with a pick-up in Reykjavik and for the first night of this tour, you'll be staying on the South Coast of Iceland, not in Reykjavik. So for accommodation before the tour, you can stay at any hotel in Reykjavik, and we will pick you up from there. On the last night of the tour, you'll be staying in Northwestern Iceland. On the last day, you will be dropped off back in Reykjavik in the afternoon.
- R
Rita
Traveler•Written January 2025So are you saying that if I book an extra day before and after the tour, I can check out of the accommodation that I have booked on the morning of the tour, take all my bags with me on the tour and then take me to my second designated accommodation that I've pre-booked?
- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written January 2025
You can book a hotel in Reykjavik before the tour, then check out of it the same day the 6-Day tour starts and bring the luggage with you on the tour. We will be taking care of the hotels for the next 5 nights during the 6-Day tour. Once we return to Reykjavik, we can drop you anywhere you like, and you can check into any hotel booked by you.

Asked on December 23rd, 2024I really want to snorkel silfra, is it possible to add this on?
- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written December 2024
You would need to add that activity before or after the 6 day tour. The stop at Thingvellir on the 6 day tour is only about 40-60 min, but in order to do the snorkeling tour at Silfra, you need 2 hours. We could assist you to book it as a pre or post tour from Reykjavik.
