- ADAnnette· June 6th, 2025We thoroughly enjoyed our 6 day ring road tour of Iceland. It was amazing how many things we were able to see. Our driver Kalman was really knowledgeable and very considerate of everyone and their individual circumstances. We want to complement him on his professionalism and his respect and care for all.Show moreTrip date: June 2025
- MEMeri· June 6th, 2025We had an amazing time on our tour. Linda was our tour guide and she was so Informative balanced with the perfect energy for the tour. Although we had a bit of weather, we felt safe and secure with her and our vehicle. I would recommend all of the extra excursions. I would go again!Show moreTrip date: March 2025
- MHMichael Taylor· June 5th, 2025The tour was exactly what we hoped for. Cold and snowy and windy! Iceland at its best! Four nights in a row of northern lights was awesome.Show moreTrip date: February 2025
- Mmatutu· June 5th, 2025Awesome! I would definitely recommend others join this small group tour, especially during good seasons. Seats are quite comfortable even though several hours riding per day are necessary for the round trip. Our guide Vala is sooo considerate and skillful, she arranged daily schedules perfectly, u can see as much beautiful scenery as possible but less tiring.Show moreTrip date: April 2025

- NJNick· April 10th, 2025The 6-day Circle Road Tour of Iceland took us to many spectacular sites as we drove around the country. The changes in scenery along the way never cased to impress us. Our tour director was very friendly and knowledgeable about many areas of Iceland and it's history. There were a few times when a local expert would be brought in to let know and experience even more about a particular location. The bus was very comfortable and the windows allowed for seeing the changing scenery as we ventured through the country. Our accommodations every evening were very nice. There was no feelings of being rushed as the daily travels weren't overly long.Show moreTrip date: March 2025
- DRDanielle· February 26th, 2025Great bus tour to see all the must see sights around Iceland’s ring road! Tour guide Tom was very knowledgeable and able to answer any questions. Each stop along the way was so beautiful - the scenery was breathtaking! The add on activities are a must especially the whale watching.Show moreBusTravel Iceland commented on this reviewDear Danielle Thank you for your wonderful review! - JRJoyce· February 26th, 2025One of the best tours I have been on. Great tour, so many places and things to do packed into the 6 days. The tour group consisted of 8 travelers, including myself. I was very lucky and had a great tour guide, Andy who was so nice, friendly, patient, knowledgeable and made sure our group was well looked after. There were 7 other wonderful people who I was very fortunate to meet and travel with within our small tour group. I would definitely recommend this tour to others.Show moreTrip date: February 2025
- Mark· February 25th, 2025My recent six-day Ring Road tour in Iceland was an unforgettable experience, combining breathtaking landscapes, relaxing geothermal baths, and a bit of unexpected musical entertainment. Our accommodations throughout the journey were comfortable and well-chosen, providing a warm retreat from the cold. But what truly made the trip special was our tour guide, Thomas. He was knowledgeable, engaging, and full of enthusiasm. As a bonus, he could sing, which added a fun and personal touch to the long drives. Overall, this tour was a fantastic way to experience Iceland in winter. If you’re considering a winter trip to Iceland, I highly recommend taking this journey, it’s an adventure you won’t forget!Show moreTrip date: February 2025

Asked on April 8th, 2025What is the cost for additional activities like whale watching and hot springs?

Asked on March 10th, 2025What time does the tour begin on May 18? What time should I book the flight home on the last day of the tour? Is it possible to book a pre-tour night? What is the cost? Can I book an extra night in Reykjavik at the end of the tour? Are airport transfers included at the beginning and end of the tour?
- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written March 2025
The tour starts at 9 am on May 18th. It's possible to book pre- and post-night. The price for a Superior Double room at Hotel Cabin is 200 EUR per night. I recommend staying one night after the tour in Reykjavik, then you should be able to book the flight after. If you wish to fly in the same evening as the tour ends, then I would not recommend booking a flight before 9 pm. Airport transfers are not included, but it's easy to book them online or at the airport arrival terminal.

Asked on January 27th, 2025Will there be another sale on in the spring? Is the trip fully refundable by a certain date.
- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written January 2025
We don't have another sale planned at the moment for this tour. You could book the tour now, then we can adjust the date if needed later, free of charge. Also, our cancellation policy is quite flexible, you can cancel up to 7 days before the tour date and get a full refund.

Traveler•Written January 2025Is the 7 day tour 100% refundable? How many days should we arrive in Reykjavík before the tour from Canada.

A day before would be sufficient.

Asked on January 23rd, 2025Are there rooms that will accommodate 3 people. we don't want to have to get 2 rooms
- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written January 2025
It is possible to request a triple room for this tour. Unfortunately, we can guarantee a triple room every night of the tour. If we can't get a triple room, you would get two rooms (1x Twin/DBL and 1x Single).

Traveler•Written January 2025I know I have to do it myself, are you saying I can't book extra nights at the place I'm staying in Reykjavik?
- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written January 2025
This tour doesn't include any hotels in Reykjavik. The tour starts with a pick-up in Reykjavik and for the first night of this tour, you'll be staying on the South Coast of Iceland, not in Reykjavik. So for accommodation before the tour, you can stay at any hotel in Reykjavik, and we will pick you up from there. On the last night of the tour, you'll be staying in Northwestern Iceland. On the last day, you will be dropped off back in Reykjavik in the afternoon.

Traveler•Written January 2025So are you saying that if I book an extra day before and after the tour, I can check out of the accommodation that I have booked on the morning of the tour, take all my bags with me on the tour and then take me to my second designated accommodation that I've pre-booked?
- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written January 2025
You can book a hotel in Reykjavik before the tour, then check out of it the same day the 6-Day tour starts and bring the luggage with you on the tour. We will be taking care of the hotels for the next 5 nights during the 6-Day tour. Once we return to Reykjavik, we can drop you anywhere you like, and you can check into any hotel booked by you.

Asked on December 23rd, 2024I really want to snorkel silfra, is it possible to add this on?
- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written December 2024
You would need to add that activity before or after the 6 day tour. The stop at Thingvellir on the 6 day tour is only about 40-60 min, but in order to do the snorkeling tour at Silfra, you need 2 hours. We could assist you to book it as a pre or post tour from Reykjavik.

Louise
Traveler•Written December 2024If you could let me know the cost as an extra, the pick up times etc, I can arrange an earlier or later flight.
- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written December 2024
The price is 201 USD per person. The pick up starts at 8:30 am. Duration 5.5 hours.

Asked on December 20th, 2024I am interested in this group tour, but I was wondering what the estimated time would be when we arrive back at the airport? I plan on booking a flight that departs at 5PM back to my home country, and I see that this tour ends at 5PM. Is there any accommodation to get to the airport earlier (~3PM) or am I able to leave the tour earlier than the time it ends? If so, how?
- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written December 2024
We do not drop off at the airport, only in Reykjavík city center. We will arrive in Reykjavík around 18:00. We highly recommend you to book a post-night after the tour, and leave the day after.
