Asked on December 22nd, 2022With this trip i presume you book your own flights. At what time do you need to be there on the first day and are you responsible for getting to the meeting point or is this arranged also? Thanks :)
ContikiOperator•Written December 2022Trip starts at 4:00 PM on 08-Feb-2023 in Reykjavik. You will be meeting the group at the start hotel. We do not offer transfer, but we do however recommend the Flybus which is super easy to pre book online, with costs starting at 20,09 GBP one way with regular pick-up times.

The most average age of our traveller is 27. As our groups are aged 18-35 and the size of our Fire and Ice trip is 40 travellers, there may be a range of peoples ages. However, as everyone on our trips has the passion for travel, it is easy to get along with most, no matter the age.

We are not running fire and ice on the 16th of April 2022. We have one more trip called the Iceland Explorer but unfortunately that is only running on the 04th of April 2022.

Asked on January 18th, 2022I was wondering if this trip is actually scheduled to run for sure? I'm asking this before I sign up because another tour I was signed up for just contacted me to let me know there wasn't enough enrollment and I wouldn't like to go through the disappointment of having another tour cancelled right before it's supposed to happen. Please let me know if the tour is indeed running.

We have every intention to continue running this trip and last couple dates have gone ahead as planned. The date can be suspended due to numbers and travel restrictions, that's not something anyone can control. If that does happen we'll let you know in advance and provide alternatives. Fortunately, that hasn't happed for any dates on this trip.
