- LSLisa· February 18th, 2025My daughter and I had the most amazing experience on the 6 day Ring Road tour. Iceland is a beautiful country with such unbelievable natural wonders. We had a fantastic tour guide, Tom. He was very knowledgeable and personable, explaining what we were seeing in great detail and he always went out of his way to make sure we had the best experiences. We loved seeing the beauty of Iceland and having a tour guide that is passionate about his work and about Iceland let us appreciate the country even more. We were sad to leave and go back home to NYC/NJ. A huge thank you to Tom for making this experience truly memorable and special!Show moreTrip date: February 2025

Asked on June 12th, 2025My father and I are interested in your August tours. We can either set off around 2nd or 3rd August or 16th/ 17th August. We are hoping for a tour around Iceland in a circle, including the north. My father is 82. He can do short stops or walk with breaks but cannot hike. Is there a lot of hiking or are there shorter stops for photos without too much walking. For some of the hiking options, could he sit somewhere or stay on the coach? Is the blue lagoon included in this tour? Does this finish late? Do you drop off at hotels within Reykjavik or do you just drop off at a bus stop. Are there any recommended hotels nearby the pick up/ drop off locations? Do you also arrange Reykjavik day tours around the city?
- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written June 2025
Most of the times you can adjust the hiking distance/time at each site to your ability, and still enjoy the site. I would probably advise against adding Katla Ice Cave tour, as it involves a little bit more of hiking on uneven ground. Staying on the coach should be possible most of the time, if requested. Yes, a transfer to the Blue Lagoon and admission is included in this tour. The drop-off for this tour is around 10 pm. We drop off both directly at hotels and bus stops. If you plan on staying at a hotel located downtown, you might be dropped off at a nearby bus stop (due to city regulations). Yes, we can arrange all sorts of day tours in and around Reykjavik.

Traveler•Written June 2025What's the main difference between the 6 day tour (including blue lagoon) and what's extra in the 7 day tour that we wouldn't get in the 6 day tour?
- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written June 2025
Days 1-6 are the same for both tours (in fact operated together). 6 Day with Blue Lagoon tour, includes transfer and admission to Blue Lagoon in the evening on day 6. 7-day tour, includes accommodation in Reykjavik on day 6 and a tour to Snaefellsnes day tour on day 7.

Traveler•Written June 2025I am interested in the 6 day tour with blue lagoon inclusion. However, Snaefellsnes sounds amazing. Is there an option to do a separate day trip there? Is there much hiking or is it mainly photo stops/ brief stops?
- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written June 2025
You can add Snaefellsnes day tour as addon before or after your 6 day tour. It's more photo/short stops kind a tour, rather than a hiking tour.

- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written March 2025
The prices advertised are per person. You select the date you are interested in, insert the number of people you wish to book, and then select the room type. Then the system will display the correct price for the number of people you wish to book.

Asked on March 24th, 2025I booked 2 of my clients for this tour and Tour Radar customer service has been terrible so far. My clients would like to add the cancellation insurance that TR offers on their website, but TR won't let me add it to this booking since deposit has been made. Can you assist me in either cancelling this booking so I can start a new one that includes the insurance, while retaining the client deposit, allow for a transfer of the deposit to a new booking, or allow me to add the insurance with you now that deposit has been made?
- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written March 2025
I'm afraid that we (BusTravel Iceland) can't add the TourRadar cancellation insurance to your booking, that is something their representative has to do. Regarding BusTravel Iceland's cancellation policy, then you can cancel up to 7 days before the tour and receive a full refund.

Asked on March 4th, 2025What are chances of seeing the Northern Lights on this trip?
- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written March 2025
The chances of seeing the Northern Lights depend on the month you visit. If you come between September and April, there's always a good chance of witnessing this natural phenomenon.

Asked on January 17th, 2025Would it be ok if we choose to finish and leave the tour at the Blue Lagoon, rather than going back to Reykjavik? After the Blue Lagoon, we would like to go straight to our accommodation in Keflavík, near the International Airport, for an early flight the following morning.
- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written January 2025
Yes, you can end the tour at the Blue Lagoon. Regarding transport from the Blue Lagoon to your accommodation in Keflavík, then you would need to arrange that yourself. Taking a taxi would probably be the best option (if not the only option).

Gloria
Asked on November 30th, 2024Is there any dedicated time to finding and viewing the lights?
- BusTravel IcelandOperator•Written November 2024
The Northern Lights can be seen during your tour, but no specific Northern Lights tour is included. Walking outside most hotels gives you a chance to see the auroras.
