- Thomas· May 30th, 2025The 7 day journey organized by Snaeland was an excellent introduction to Iceland. Sveinn our guide and driver was amazing. He shared great stories that included not only Icelandic folklore but also his personal family connections as we toured the different regions. Although we covered about 2000 km total, the pace was good and we never felt rushed. We did the Forest Lagoon spa on the first evening on the road, which was outstanding - make sure you allocate 2-3 hours for that. Asked on June 9th, 2025Is there much walking on this tour? Can he sit on the coach or in a cafe or shop sometimes if he can't walk?
- Snaeland TravelOperator•Written June 2025
The tour includes stops at general points of interest with good accessibility. At most location, there is some light walking, but nothing too strenuous or steep. If your father prefers not to join certain walks, he is always welcome to wait on or near the coach, or relax with in a cafe where available. We aim to make the experience enjoyable and comfortable for all guests.

Traveler•Written June 2025Is the first day including one night in Reykjavik? Does the last day end in the evening but no hotel room included after that? Do you arrange day tours of Reykjavik and also tours of Blue Lagoon before or after the 7 day tour?

Carolyn
Traveler•Written June 2025We are hoping to know when check in to the hotel would be on day 1 please. We want to do an additional day tour in Reykjavik and also a trip to the blue lagoon.

Traveler•Written June 2025Could I just check that the 7 day tour is showing as £1289 per person which is cheaper than the 5 day tour which is £1391. Could I ask which hotel is included in Reykjavik? Is it the Icelandair Hotel? For the western side of Iceland, is the silver circle included on day 2? Would Borgarfjordur area be included on the way to Akureyri?
- C
Carolyn
Traveler•Written June 2025Is the pick up only from 1 hotel or do you pick up from nearby hotels?

Carolyn
Traveler•Written June 2025I just wanted to know how much of western Iceland the tour covers. Does it cover the silver circle and Borgarfjordur? If not then will we see similar sights? Is it possible to add 1 extra day in the hotel on 9th August and also on 16th August to the 7 day tour? If so then what extra cost please?
- C
Carolyn
Traveler•Written June 2025We would like to know which hotel would be included in the 7 day tour if we decide that.
- Snaeland TravelOperator•Written June 2025
The hotel in Reykjavik for the 7-day tour is Reykjavik Natura Hotel, which yes used to be an Icelandair Hotel. We do pick up from hotels and busstops in the center of Reykjavik as well depending on where our passengers are staying. The tour description is very accurate in the itinerary, and there is no stop in the western side during this tour, there is only a brief stop in Borgarnes at most, for a quick snack and a bathroom break. We can certainly add pre and post nights, the cost for this would be 142 EUR per person per night in a double occupancy room.

Traveler•Written June 2025Do you arrange any day tours to the following- 1. Snaefellsnes Peninsula 2. The west- silver circle and Borgarfjordur area 3. The blue lagoon?

Asked on May 18th, 2025Could you please let me know about detailed trip information, I downloaded tour brochure but it seems to start from day 2 where we are going to meet at 9am our tour guide. What about day 1 (13th July) , is it free time? Also could you please let me know about free time during the trip how long it usually , I assume it's depending on the location and our day of the trip. Can you please confirm how many ppl in the group are usually in this trip?
- Snaeland TravelOperator•Written May 2025
Day 1 (Sunday) is arrival day in Iceland, so the only thing you need to worry about is getting to Iceland, to the hotel in Reykjavík and then you have free time. During the tour you will have free time each day once you have arrived at the hotel, unless you have any optional extras booked. The maximum amount of passengers for this tour is 25 people.

Asked on May 10th, 2025What is the average groups size and average age on this trip? How much extra for single supplement?
- Snaeland TravelOperator•Written May 2025
The maximum group size for this tour is 25 people. The age range greatly varies, we have participants from 30-75 years of age. The single supplement should be visible in the booking process. For the start date 8th of June the price of the package is €1,938 with a single room.

Asked on April 21st, 2025We would be especially looking for a late summer, fall departure.
- Snaeland TravelOperator•Written April 2025
The special price is valid for April and May departures only at this moment. We are not having any discounts at this time for summer and late summer dates. Our tour however does operate through September so we do have tours available all summer.

Asked on April 3rd, 2025if I go on the tour may 25th to may 31st do we actually start on the 26th in the van and do we actually get back to the capital on the 30th and what time would that be since I have to leave on the 31st from the airport in the morning
- Snaeland TravelOperator•Written April 2025
This is right. The 25th is the arrival date to Iceland. On the 26th you would be picked up at your hotel and the Journey around Iceland will begin. You will then return to Reykjavik on the 30th around 17:00 in the afternoon. This would give you one free evening in Reykjavik, before getting on your flight on the 31st.
