Asked on February 13th, 2025My wife and I are in our late sixties....I noticed the age group for this tour is 18-35...Would we be out of place due to our age or do middle aged people upto 70 go on this tour too ?

Contiki tours have an age restriction, requiring guests to be between 18-35 years old to participate. As you are outside this age range, you would not be eligible to join the trip. We have several sister brands that offer fantastic travel experiences without age restrictions, such as Trafalgar and Costsaver.

This tour is a youth focused tour and no children will be allowed. You can check on our tours, under age range to see, what tours allow kids of 2 years old. You have an option to add age under the filter section when searching for tours.

The Active Ireland Trip is packed with experiences to get your adrenaline pumping. A good level of fitness and the ability to hike for 4-6 kms on uneven ground is required. You will need to know how to swim to participate in any water based activities. We have special departures with experiences like Kissing the Blarney Stone in Cork and pouring the perfect pint in Dublin, combined with Active Experiences every day. We will mix it up with a range of experiences like White Water Rafting, Kayaking and loads of epic hikes.
