- KKirsty· July 17th, 2025A very well organised tour thru Pompeii and just enough assistance from tour guides who arranged tour transfers. No need to upgrade to first class train either. My tour mates were so lovely and we were lucky to stay in fantastic hotels except for Amalfi where they were put in a nicer hotel (Hotel Residence), I’m not sure why. Our daily breakfasts at the hotels were huge buffets. And we had a lot of free time to do our own thing during the day. Capri tour was fabulous. Highly recommended!Show moreTrip date: May 2025
- JDJohn· October 3rd, 2023At least we had a fantastic tour of Pompey. We arrived in Naples with no clue what to do. The hotel recommended going to Via Toledo to check out the shopping. We ran into heavy crowds from a huge cruise ship. Would have liked some guidance of what to see in Naples. Transportation was usually late and impacted us and others from many of the intersecting other tours managed by Omega tours. Overall the best parts of this trip were the Cities of Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi. By all means go see Ravello from Amalfi. Just a little unsettling not knowing who or when we would be transported. I think 3 out of 5 is fair for this tour and of course it was mush less expensive than other tour companies. You get what you pay for.Show more Omega Tours commented on this reviewThank you for sharing your candid feedback about your recent tour experience. Holly· October 3rd, 2023People should know this is NOT operated by Omega Tours, they just sell the tour and then it is farmed out to local Italian drivers. This tour is NOT guided despite it saying so. Poor coordination for the Capri day: pick up was 7:50am but no one turned up until 9:30am, and then they picked up other random people at hotels along the way. Because of this I missed the boat I was supposed to be on (the grozzo) which then meant the Blue Grotto wasn't an option, also didn't get the boat ride around Capri. The room in Sorrento was a single bed in a tiny room, substandard for what I've paid. My driver got lost twice on the way from Positano to Amalfi, and then took me to the wrong hotel (in fairness I was given the hotel name of Residence Amalfi which he took me to, but the ACTUAL hotel name was Hotel Residence which is in an entirely different spot - a little detail that had a large impact!). It's just a transfer and accommodation tour, do not expect anyone to assist with anything. I was also the only one on this 'tour', so that was lots of fun for me...not. I wouldn't travel with Omega Tours again.Show more Holly· October 3rd, 2023People should know this is NOT operated by Omega Tours, they just sell the tour and then it is farmed out to local Italian drivers. - SSSTEPHEN· May 27th, 2023Overall, a drop decent week of travel. Capri was a waste of time with tardiness of tour on the island , a boat ride around the island would have suffice. Tour guides were mostly good. Drivers were late (25-35 minutes) for pickups, never bothered to inform us. Emergency number was useless. Hotel staffs were mostly accommodating and courteous.Show moreTrip date: May 2023
Peter· July 25th, 2022Overall our tour was well organised with transfers & meet ups on time or earlier. We were surprised & pleased that we had such 'one on one attention', being the sole travellers for most of the tour.Show moreTrip date: July 2022 Peter· July 25th, 2022Overall our tour was well organised with transfers & meet ups on time or earlier. - DBDenise· May 22nd, 2022Hotel in Rome very small and a disappointment. Driver changed pick up time till an hour later then was another 45 min late. Our Pompeii visit was half the time or less it should have been. Driver back to Naples late and did not know where to meet assistant. Almost missed the train. Drivers seem to be overbooked. Sorrento and Amalfi hotels, nice location, free shuttle to town. Driver and guide to Positano was very nice. Good guide in Capri, big group but well organized.Show moreTrip date: May 2022
- WHWendy· May 14th, 2022We were very happy with the accommodation and guides. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip. Our only disappointment was the food at the Hotel Vesuvius. It was really terrible. Perhaps for the British people? Pizza, pasta, gnocchi? Nowhere to be seen. We suggest a different menu option for those who want Italian food.Show moreTrip date: May 2022
