Negombo
You'll arrive in Negombo and get settled into this relaxed beach town known for its canal system and fresh seafood options. Later in the evening, there's an optional welcome dinner at a local restaurant where you'll meet the rest of your group and try some Sri Lankan dishes to kick things off.

Sigiriya
Today you're heading inland to the UNESCO World Heritage site near Sigiriya. You've got choices here: check out the Dambulla Cave Temple with its ancient carvings, climb up Sigiriya Rock Fortress for the views, or do a safari through Minneriya National Park where you might spot elephants roaming around.

Sigiriya
The whole day is yours to explore this historical region at whatever pace works for you. You can wander through Polonnaruwa's well-preserved ruins or head to Anuradhapura, one of the world's oldest continuously inhabited cities. Take your time and soak in the history.

Sigiriya to Digana
On the way to Digana, you'll stop at a medicinal spice garden to learn what grows there. After lunch, join a guided walk through a local village where you'll visit a working cattle and goat farm, sample herbal drinks at someone's cottage, and learn to prepare traditional Sri Lankan curries from scratch as you help with dinner prep.

Digana to Kandy
Start with breakfast while looking out over the Victoria Reservoir with your tea, then travel to Kandy. The afternoon is free, so you can visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth, catch a traditional Kandyan cultural performance, or check out a local cricket match if one's happening.

Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
Breakfast comes from the G Adventures-supported Sthree Craft Shop and Café, where women and youth with disabilities prepare the meal. From there you'll head to the green hills around Nuwara Eliya. At a tea plantation you'll see how tea gets produced, and you can walk through the scenic terrain if you're interested.

Nuwara Eliya to Ella
If you're up early, trek through Horton Plains National Park while the morning mist hangs over the valleys. Later you'll head to the laid-back village of Ella and have the evening free to explore on your own or just rest up after the walk.

Ella
The morning trek up Little Adam's Peak gets you to a viewpoint with 360-degree views of the countryside, including Ella Rock and the surrounding green mountains. After that, you've got the rest of the day to check out the Nine Arches Bridge, look for waterfalls, or relax with other travelers and take in the scenery.

You're heading toward the southern coast with a stop at Galle Fort, a historical fortress that's been standing strong through the centuries. From there it's on to Hikkaduwa where you'll end the day on white sand beaches right along the ocean.

This day is completely yours to fill however you like. Relax on the beach with a cold drink, or take a boat out to search for whales and dolphins. Your CEO will take everyone out to the best beach bar in town for the evening where you can dance and swim under the stars.

Hikkaduwa
You've got another day in this beach setting to make the most of your final hours. Swim or snorkel, walk around the bustling beach town, or just chill. Pick out a local restaurant with your new friends to have a farewell dinner and talk through all the places you've seen and things you've done together.
