Itinerary
- Day 1
Cairo
You'll arrive at Cairo International Airport where your tour manager will be waiting to greet you. From there, an air-conditioned coach takes you to your hotel for check-in. Once you're settled, sit down with your tour manager to go over the itinerary and get oriented. A welcome drink is included, so you can relax and prepare for the days ahead.

Cairo
After breakfast at your hotel, your personal guide meets you to explore Giza Plateau for the full day. You'll walk through the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus, then see the Sphinx and Valley Temple up close. Lunch happens at a local restaurant around midday. In the afternoon, head to the Egyptian Museum to check out the artifacts, then move on to Coptic Cairo where you can see the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue.

Cairo to Luxor
Check out from your hotel this morning and transfer to Cairo Airport for your domestic flight to Luxor. Once you land, your guide meets you and escorts you to board your Nile cruise. Have lunch on board, then in the afternoon you'll visit Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple. Dinner and overnight happen on the cruise.

Luxor
Start with breakfast on the cruise, then head out on an excursion to Valley of the Kings where 62 Pharaohs are buried in this royal cemetery. Next, visit the mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, constructed in the 15th century BC. Before lunch on board, stop at the Colossi of Memnon. Later, the cruise sails to Edfu where dinner is served on board.

Edfu to Aswan
Begin your day with breakfast on the cruise, then visit the well-preserved Ptolemaic Temple at Edfu, which is dedicated to Horus. As you sail toward Kom Ombo, you'll see the unique temple there that honors both Sobek the crocodile god and Horus the falcon-headed god. Lunch is on board, and you'll continue sailing to Aswan for dinner and overnight on the cruise.

Aswan
After breakfast on your cruise, spend the day exploring Aswan. Start with the High Dam and the Unfinished Obelisk, the largest known ancient obelisk that's still in the stone quarries of Egypt. Then travel to the Temple of Philae, which is devoted to the goddesses Isis and Hathor. Dinner and overnight are on the cruise.

Aswan to Cairo
You'll leave the Nile cruise after breakfast and transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight back to Cairo. When you arrive, your tour manager meets you and takes you to your hotel. There's an optional tour available if you're interested in seeing the Abu Simbel temples, which were carved during Pharaoh Ramesses II's reign as a monument to himself and his queen Nefertari.
