Itinerary
- Day 1
Vancouver
You'll arrive in Vancouver and check into your hotel this afternoon. Your Travel Director will meet you to get things started. The city has a strong outdoor culture and food scene, so you'll find mountains, ocean, and great restaurants all nearby.
- Day 2
Vancouver to Victoria
This morning you'll take a sightseeing tour of Vancouver, starting with Gastown, the city's oldest neighborhood and a National Historic Site since 2009, then head to Stanley Park to see the famous totem poles. After that, you'll catch a ferry to Vancouver Island and drive to Victoria, British Columbia's capital. An orientation tour shows off the city's English character, passing the Parliament Buildings, Government Street, and Beacon Hill Park. Your evening is free to explore Victoria or grab dinner with other travelers.

Victoria
You'll spend your morning at Butchart Gardens, a large estate over a century old with sunken, rose, Japanese, Italian and Mediterranean gardens and plenty of spots for photos. After lunch, the rest of the day is yours to explore Victoria. If you're interested, there's an optional whale watching cruise where you might see orcas, bald eagles, porpoises and seals.

Victoria to Whistler
You'll travel to Chemainus, a seaside community famous for its large outdoor murals that tell local history. From there, you'll take a ferry across the Georgia Strait to Horseshoe Bay, then drive along the Sea-to-Sky Highway, one of the world's most scenic drives. You'll pass waterfalls, jagged mountain peaks and ocean views of Howe Sound. You'll stop at Shannon Falls Provincial Park to see British Columbia's third highest waterfall. By evening you'll arrive in Whistler, the alpine village in the Blackcomb Mountains.

Whistler
Whistler is set up as an adventure playground for you to explore however you want. You can hike or bike on the trails and through Whistler Village, or pick from action-packed options like bear viewing with a wildlife photographer, whitewater rafting, zip lining at 100 km per hour through mountains, and more. It's your day to plan.

Whistler to Sun Peaks
You'll start with an iconic breakfast at Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Center featuring First Nations food and music, including blueberry and cheese and onion bannock with performances by cultural ambassadors. Then you'll travel along scenic Duffey Lake Road with views of Seton Lake and Mt. Rohr. You'll follow the historic Cariboo Wagon Trail, part of the Gold Rush Route, arriving in Sun Peaks by evening.

Sun Peaks to Jasper
You'll drive through the prairie provinces on the Yellowhead Highway, passing white fenced ranch lands. Watch for snow-capped peaks of the Columbia Mountains in the distance and you might catch your first glimpse of Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies. You'll arrive in Jasper, a laid-back mountain town located in the heart of Jasper National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Jasper
You have a full day to explore the largest national park in the Canadian Rockies with plenty of activity options. Choose from a boat cruise on Maligne Lake, the largest glacially fed lake in the Rockies, a guided e-bike tour with a local expert, a Jasper food tour downtown, a guided nature hike through the park, or a raft tour on the water. Pick what sounds best to you.

Jasper to Banff
You'll drive down the Icefields Parkway to see big Canadian scenery. You'll explore the 10,000-year-old Athabasca Glacier aboard an Ice Explorer, an all-terrain vehicle. Then you'll experience the glass-floor thrills of the Columbia Icefield Skywalk suspended above Sunwapta Valley. After lunch, you'll enter Banff National Park and stop at Lake Louise for photos before heading into Banff Village. You'll have free time to walk around nature, shop for souvenirs, or grab a maple latte.

Banff
You have a day of freedom in Banff. You can relax in the village or pick from adventure options. If you start early, there's a Moraine Lake sunrise tour guided by a local expert to catch glacier-framed views as light hits the turquoise water. Join the Mahikan Medicine Walk to learn traditional medicines and survival techniques from Indigenous ancestors. In the afternoon, take a helicopter tour over Mt. Assiniboine or the Three Sisters, or ride the Banff Gondola to Sulfur Mountain for dinner and summit views. This day is yours.

Banff to Kamloops
You'll board the luxury Rocky Mountaineer train for the first day of a two-day journey through Canada's Rocky Mountains. You'll travel in style and comfort through mountain scenery including Mount Robson, Canada's highest peak. You'll overnight in Kamloops.

Rocky Mountaineer to Vancouver
Your final day takes you aboard the Rocky Mountaineer train through Canada's western landscapes. The route winds through the Coast Mountains and remote areas of British Columbia, giving you time to sit back and take in the scenery from your seat. You'll arrive at Vancouver train station around 20:30, though keep in mind that arrival times can shift a bit since the train shares tracks with freight services. It's a memorable way to wrap up your journey through the Canadian wilderness.
