Itinerary
- Day 1
Kathmandu/Ramechhap to Lukla to Phakding
You'll fly from Kathmandu or Ramechhap to Lukla, taking in mountain views during the flight. Once you land, you'll meet your porter and start trekking through forests for about 3 hours. The route crosses suspension bridges and passes through villages like Cheplung and Thado Koshi Gaon, with views of Kusum Kangguru and Kongde Ri mountains along the way. By evening you'll reach Phakding village for your first night.

Phakding to Namche Bazaar
Starting from Phakding, you'll trek through rhododendron and magnolia forests, passing villages such as Toktok and Bengkar. The trail takes you across the long Hillary Suspension Bridge to Monjo where permits get registered at the police checkpost. From there you'll keep ascending through dense forest with more suspension bridges crossing the Dudh Koshi River before arriving at Namche Bazaar, the main Sherpa settlement. This busy mountain town has markets, ATMs, museums, shops, and cafes scattered throughout.

Namche Bazaar
Today is for acclimatization in Namche Bazaar. Early morning you'll hike uphill on a rugged route to Hotel Everest View where you can see Mt. Thamserku and views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, and Mt. Ama Dablam. If you're feeling good, you can continue to Khumjung monastery and return, or head back if you're tired. Later you'll check out the Sherpa Culture Museum and Everest Photo Gallery in town, then rest as you like.

Namche Bazaar to Tengboche
Leaving Namche Bazaar on a flat trail to Kyangjuma, you'll then descend to Phungi Thanga and cross a suspension bridge. From there the path goes gradually through pine and rhododendron forests to Tengboche village with views of Ama Dablam, Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Kantega. Once you reach Tengboche, you'll visit the biggest monastery in the Khumbu region.

Tengboche to Dingboche
You'll descend from Tengboche for 45 minutes to Deboche through lush forests where you might see monal, musk deer, and blue sheep. Continuing through dense forest to Imja Khola, you'll cross it and then take an uphill route to Pangboche village. The trek passes through settlements including Shomare and Orsho before you reach Dingboche village for the night.

Landmarks/POIs Imja Khola - Day 6
Dingboche
Another acclimatization day in Dingboche. In the morning you'll hike to Nagarjuna Hill via a steep and rugged route. From the top you'll see views of Everest, Lhotse, Cholatse, Ama Dablam, Cho Oyu, and Island Peak. After returning to Dingboche you can spend the rest of the day relaxing and exploring the village at your own pace.

Dingboche to Lobuche
You'll trek on a steep and rocky trail from Dingboche, ascending to a ridge and continuing to Thukla. The route offers views of barren hills, glaciers, and towering mountains. You'll pass the memorial chortens at Dughla Pass and continue to Lobuche village with views of Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lingtren, and Mt. Khumbutse along the way.

Lobuche to Everest Base Camp to Gorak Shep
Trekking from Lobuche and following the Khumbu Glacier on a mostly steep and rocky trail, you'll reach Gorak Shep, the last settlement before Everest Base Camp. Then you'll ascend to Everest Base Camp itself, spend time exploring and taking photos, before heading back down to Gorak Shep for the night.

Gorak Shep - Kala Patthar - Pheriche
You'll start early and hike to Kala Patthar to catch the sunrise with Mt. Everest in view. From the top you'll see Everest, Kanchenjunga, Makalu, Lhotse, Nuptse, Cho Oyu, and Pumori. Back at Gorak Shep you'll have a big breakfast, then trek down to Dughla Pass using the same trail. From Dughla you'll take a different route through nice landscapes to reach Pheriche village.

You'll trek back to Namche Bazaar passing through beautiful villages and lush hillsides. The route involves ascending and descending via lush forests with mountain views throughout. The trail is calm and peaceful on the way down with nice scenery.

Namche Bazaar to Lukla
After breakfast you'll descend steeply from Namche Bazaar through dense forests following the Dudh Koshi River. You'll cross this river many times on the way to Lukla. From Phakding you'll then ascend through lush rhododendron forest to reach Lukla.

Lukla to Kathmandu/Ramechhap
You'll fly back to Kathmandu or Ramechhap early in the morning. After landing your guide will drop you at your hotel. Spend the rest of the day as you'd like, visiting tourist sites, exploring local markets, shopping, or getting a massage if your muscles need it. Later in the evening you'll meet your group for a farewell dinner.
