What people love about Portugal Tours in January
- Best of Lisbon and The Azores: City and Nature Wonders
The day tours and guides were all very good. I especially enjoyed my time in the Azores. Portugal is a beautiful country with warm and welcoming people and amazing food and wine. I definitely recommend the destination and plan to go back soon to visit other areas of the country. I was disappointed that this tour was not actually a group tour as it was described. Being a solo traveler on this trip, I specifically booked a group tour to have the opportunity to have some travel companions and a tour guide at hand throughout the trip. This company outsources the different tours on the itinerary and does not have a representative who meets you and guides you throughout the trip. They were supportive in responding via email and trying to meet my needs; however, this was not what I had in mind when I booked this tour.
- Highlights of Portugal - Lisbon, Alentejo, Sintra, Porto and Douro Valley
This was money well spent. I got to see so much of Portugal in such a short period of time with very knowledgeable guides. I learned so much history! And what a beautiful country!
- Lisbon & Algarve in 9 days - Best of Sea and Countryside
We just returned from a wonderful trip. It took us to so many places in Portugal and gave us many interesting experiences that would have been difficult to arrange on our own. We saw cities and locations all over Portugal, from the very north of the country to the Algarve. A highlight was a day trip to Santiago de Compostela in Galicia. The drivers/guides were great. Stand-outs were Pedro, Jorge, and Fillipa. The driver/guides were punctual and always eager to give us memorable experiences. We had a number of rainy days which sometimes required a change in plans. But our driver/guides always made the most of it. I recommend this trip most highly!
