I enjoyed that G Adventures' itinerary allowed for lots of free time to explore and pursue what you'd like to see independently or with others in the group. Our guide Daniel was friendly, funny, kind and caring and got everybody happy and onside. He was one of the best tour guides I have ever had. I loved all the hotels, including Hotel Astoria in Coimbra, which is a beautiful and grand slice of history, centrally located and on the river. The extra day in Coimbra was pointless and could have been spent in Porto. Needless to say, I felt the Tour was not worth the money and I am extremely disappointed as I have had better from GAdventures in the past.
