What people love about Costa Rica Tours in February
- Costa Rica Classic 12 Day - One Life Adventures
The tour was amazing!! Perfect balance of jungle and beaches! The volcano was impressive and the accommodation we stayed at on the first night was my favourite. We had angelica as our guide and she showed us so many animals and answered all our questions and her enthusiasm made the trip for me . The accommodation is quite basic but we were so busy it didn't matter. Every day we did so much even when we had free days there were so many options. Amber went above and beyond to make sure every part of the trip ran smoothly for us and we always knew what we were doing. I 100% reccomend this trip to anyone that wants to see costa rica and is interested in wildlife. Pura Vida!
- Classic Costa Rica (including Arenal Volcano National Park)
Our guide Pedro exceeded all expectations! A very complete tour going around Costa Rica, lots of different activities, early and late wake ups, quiet and busy days, physical and calm days, and hot and cold!
- Costa Rica Wildlife Tour
The tour leader and the driver were excellent, knowledgeable, endlessly patient and upbeat. Hotels were generally acceptable but not luxurious. La Baula Lodge was below par (both food and accommodations). Guayabo Lodge was too far from the included activities, but otherwise comfortable. El Faro Hotel would have been acceptable had I not been assigned the room under the kitchen, where noisy food preparation began at 5 a.m. I was a bit disappointed we didn’t see more animals in the parks, possibly because they were just too crowded. The weather (rain most days) may have impacted wildlife viewing also.

What is the weather like in Costa Rica during February?
February stands out as the driest and sunniest month in Costa Rica with optimal conditions in key destinations like Arenal and Manuel Antonio. A TourRadar traveler notes from her February trip: "The weather was perfect during our visit with warm days around 85°F in coastal areas like Manuel Antonio and comfortable mid-70s°F in mountainous regions like Monteverde." Coastal regions see extensive sunshine with 8-10 hours daily making it a prime time for outdoor activities from surfing at Tamarindo Beach to beachfront stays at Hotel Parador in Manuel Antonio.

Peak tourist season hits its stride in February especially in beach destinations like Manuel Antonio and Tamarindo. Tourism data shows February visitor numbers rise about 20% above average monthly levels.
