- Elisabeth· July 2nd, 2025The itinerary, G adventures, and our tour guide were exceptional! This was a great tour to get to see and experience. A lot of the highlights, both cultural and scenic that Costa Rica has to offer! Our Tour Guide Maria Victoria was exceptional! She was both passionate about sharing information about the culture and history of Costa Rica, but also about animals and conservation efforts! Highly recommend this tourShow moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThank you so much for sharing your experience and beautiful photos with us, Elisabeth! We are delighted to know you enjoyed your time with Maria in beautiful Costa Rica. Our world deserves more you!Trip date: May 2025
- VSVesna· June 24th, 2025Lack of information by our guide, sometimes the info were misleading, or info coming the last minute. It was not emphasized that we needed lot of money actually ( small bills).it was not always possible to use the card, so money was needed.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThank you for sharing your feedback with us, Vesna. We regret the issued faced with your tour guide and have passed the feedback on to the relevant teams for their review.Trip date: June 2025
- Gary· May 25th, 2025Overall experience was great. The G-Adventures CEO did a great job leading the tour, coordinating activities, and keeping us informed, and arranging for transportation. The only real gripe was with some of the lodging establishments they provided. The hotel they used in San Jose was a rather substandard property.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThanks so much for your open and honest feedback, Gary! We are glad to know you enjoyed your trip overall, but regret your concerns with accommodations. We have passed your comments on to the relevant teams for their review.Trip date: May 2025

- David· March 7th, 2025What an incredible experience! Our CEO Katherine was very knowledgeable, super friendly and a great communicator. I appreciated how hard she worked to ensure we had a great experience. All of the accommodations and transportation were more than adequate, and the included activities were fun and interesting, with lots of optional activities to keep us entertained. I would have loved to spend an extra day in each location, but otherwise I have absolutely no complaints!Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThank you so much for this wonderful feedback and beautiful photos, David! We are delighted to know you enjoyed your time with us in Costa Rica and hope to welcome you on another adventure in the near future!Trip date: February 2025
- GWGarry· February 16th, 2025This tour was a nice balance of getting transported around with a very knowledgeable guide, pared with events vs discretionary private time. As I told our guide, "I consider loitering to be an activity". A special mention of our guide Tavo. He was knowledgeable, personable, very well spoken; and was always on top of all of the business. He really made the trip for us.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThank you so much for sharing your experience with us, Garry! It sounds like you had a wonderful time in Costa Rica. - XGXavier· January 11th, 2025Costa Rica Quest Tour description on TourRadar did not mention that a lot of activities included in the description cost extra money, each costing between $45 to $65. This was communicated only after booking the tour. Only one meal was included. The hotels used by this tour (G Adventures) were just okay, some of them subpar with small rooms and no WiFi in many rooms. The transportation arrangements were excellent. The best part was the local guide(CEO) who was extremely knowledgeable and flexible and made the experience quite enjoyable.Show moreG Adventures commented on this reviewThank you for your honest review, Xavier! We do note 'included' and 'optional' activities on our website, but if there are discrepancies, please reach out to our Customer Experience team so this can be rectified.Trip date: December 2024

Asked on July 1st, 2025if there is no lunch/dinner included, what are the options that tourist are provided to buy meals? appr how much additional expense should one plan for it?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written July 2025
Generally meals are not included in the trip price when there is a choice of eating options, to give you the maximum flexibility in deciding where, what and with whom to eat. It also gives you more budgeting flexibility, though generally food is cheap. Our groups tend to eat together to enable you to taste a larger variety of dishes and enjoy each other's company. There is no obligation to do this though. Your CEO will be able to suggest favourite restaurants during your trip. You should budget approx. USD10-15 for lunch and USD20-25 for dinner + drinks

Traveler•Written July 2025Are there sufficient options for vegetarian food available?
- G AdventuresOperator•Written July 2025
Yes, there are plenty of vegetarian options in Costa Rica. We also ask your dietary requirements prior to travel so the guide will be aware of this and will ensure there are always veg options.
