- ADAntonela· December 8th, 2025I had a great overall experience on my G Adventures tour in Costa Rica - the itinerary was well planned and showcased the country’s incredible wildlife and biodiversity. To make it perfect, I would recommend adding an extra day in La Fortuna and including breakfast in all hotels. This would also allow time to include a visit to Poas volcano on the way from San Jose to La Fortuna. Our guide was fantastic, and Costa Rica itself was absolutely stunning. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone on a short stay visit to Costa Rica.Show moreTrip date: November 2025
- DWDavid· November 24th, 2025I had a wonderful time on my Costa Rica Quest tour, organized through G Adventures and booked via Tour Radar. They made it so easy to book, pay, manage and modify my booking, including adding pre-trip accommodation. Communication was excellent. I would wholeheartedly recommend Tour Radar to anyone planning their next vacation.Show moreTrip date: November 2025

Elisabeth· July 2nd, 2025The itinerary, G adventures, and our tour guide were exceptional! This was a great tour to get to see and experience. A lot of the highlights, both cultural and scenic that Costa Rica has to offer! Our Tour Guide Maria Victoria was exceptional! She was both passionate about sharing information about the culture and history of Costa Rica, but also about animals and conservation efforts! Highly recommend this tourShow more

Gary· May 25th, 2025Overall experience was great. The G-Adventures CEO did a great job leading the tour, coordinating activities, and keeping us informed, and arranging for transportation. The only real gripe was with some of the lodging establishments they provided. The hotel they used in San Jose was a rather substandard property.Show more

Dave· March 7th, 2025What an incredible experience! Our CEO Katherine was very knowledgeable, super friendly and a great communicator. I appreciated how hard she worked to ensure we had a great experience. All of the accommodations and transportation were more than adequate, and the included activities were fun and interesting, with lots of optional activities to keep us entertained. I would have loved to spend an extra day in each location, but otherwise I have absolutely no complaints!Show more

Traveler•Written September 2025Does this trip include pickup and drop to airport at start and end of trip?
G AdventuresOperator•Written September 2025The current promo is only valid on select departures. The October 4 departure is not currently part of this promotion and therefore, we are not able to offer the discount. This tour does not include arrival and departure transfers; however this is a service we can add for you as an optional extra.

Traveler•Written September 2025How much is the service for pickup and departure to airport? How much money is to be carried for breakfast lunch and dinner?
G AdventuresOperator•Written September 2025An arrival transfer is USD 50 for 1 traveller. If you go to create a quote you can see the add on in your local currency. You should allow USD385-500 for meals not included.

Traveler•Written September 2025My arrival would be late in the evening with the flight reaching at 11:30 pm. Is that okay?
G AdventuresOperator•Written September 2025The pre-bookable transfer service is for any time (even late at night). If you miss the welcome meeting the CEO/tour leader will leave you instructions at the front desk for what time to meet up the following morning and they can give you a short briefing at that time!
G AdventuresOperator•Written September 2025That could potentially work but you may need to leave earlier from Quposos then the rest of the group. There are a few shuttles and the tour leader could help with booking this but it would be an additional cost.

Asked on September 17th, 2025What is a good size for a suit case for this trip
G AdventuresOperator•Written September 2025We recommend using a backpack for your convenience, or a medium-sized suitcase if you prefer. A daypack is also essential for carrying everyday items. Space is limited on transportation, so there is a limit of one main piece of luggage per person. You will be responsible for carrying and handling your own luggage.

Asked on July 1st, 2025if there is no lunch/dinner included, what are the options that tourist are provided to buy meals? appr how much additional expense should one plan for it?
G AdventuresOperator•Written July 2025Generally meals are not included in the trip price when there is a choice of eating options, to give you the maximum flexibility in deciding where, what and with whom to eat. It also gives you more budgeting flexibility, though generally food is cheap. Our groups tend to eat together to enable you to taste a larger variety of dishes and enjoy each other's company. There is no obligation to do this though. Your CEO will be able to suggest favourite restaurants during your trip. You should budget approx. USD10-15 for lunch and USD20-25 for dinner + drinks

Traveler•Written July 2025Are there sufficient options for vegetarian food available?
G AdventuresOperator•Written July 2025Yes, there are plenty of vegetarian options in Costa Rica. We also ask your dietary requirements prior to travel so the guide will be aware of this and will ensure there are always veg options.
