Zurich
After arriving at your Winterthur apartment, settle in and get comfortable. Then take a walk along Lake Zurich's shores at your own pace. The Swiss landscape in winter has its own quiet appeal, and you'll get a real sense of the area just by wandering around by the water.

Rhine Falls - Hallenbad Blumenwies
Head out to Rhine Falls where the winter conditions create an interesting contrast between the frozen rocks and the rushing water. Later, go to Hallenbad Blumenwies indoor pool for some water time. They have multiple pools and slides, so there's something to do whether you're looking for relaxation or more active fun.

Next, go to Tobogganing Park in Leysin for rides on inflatable tubes with airbag landings. Later, take the cable car up to Jungfraujoch, Top of Europe, and explore the Ice Palace carved right into the glacier.

Uetliberg - Zurich
While heading back toward Zurich, stop at Uetliberg mountain for tobogganing runs. The slopes are gentle and you'll have views of the snow-covered Alps around you. It's a good way to wrap up your time in the mountains before returning to the city.
