Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival
You'll get transferred to your hotel where there's time to settle in and rest after traveling. Stop by the hotel reception in the afternoon to check the boards for details about when your tour officially starts the next day.
- Day 2
Lake Zurich - Rapperswil
Start the day exploring Zurich with your guide, walking through Switzerland's financial and cultural center. After that, board a scenic cruise across Lake Zurich that takes nearly two hours with stops at small villages along the way. You'll arrive in Rapperswil, which is known for its medieval castle. Later, catch the train back to Zurich to see how efficient Swiss rail travel really is.

Grindelwald - Lucerne - Zurich
Head to the Interlaken region early to see the Alpine scenery. In Grindelwald, grab coffee and take a cable car up the mountain where you'll walk along a winding path that leads to a suspended bridge with glacier views. Have lunch on the mountain before traveling to Lucerne to walk around this beautiful Swiss city. From there, head back to Zurich for the evening.

Bellinzona - Como - Milan
Leave Zurich early and drive across the Alps into Switzerland's Italian-speaking region. Stop in Bellinzona to see its three UNESCO World Heritage medieval castles and explore the town center. Next, go to Como in Italy, where you'll find lakeside gardens and an impressive cathedral. End your day in Milan with a guided visit to Piazza del Duomo.

Pisa - Rome
Travel to Pisa and ride a small tourist train to the Piazza dei Miracoli where you'll see the famous Leaning Tower and the beautiful art complex surrounding it. After that, continue on to Rome, arriving later in the day so you can check in and rest.

Rome
Start with a three-hour guided tour of Rome combining walking through Imperial Rome with a bus ride to see sites like the Arch of Constantine, Colosseum exterior, Imperial Forums, Circus Maximus, Baths of Caracalla, Basilica of Saint Mary Major, Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant'Angelo. By 11:00 a.m. you'll be at Vatican City. Later, transfer to Trastevere, the neighborhood known for cozy restaurants and great atmosphere, before heading back to your hotel around 8:30 p.m.
