- Day 1
Arrival in Mexico City
You'll arrive in Mexico and get transferred to your hotel. After you settle in, your guide will reach out late in the afternoon to go over what's coming up on the tour. This gives you time to rest from your journey and get oriented.

- Day 2
Mexico City and Teotihuacan
After breakfast, you're heading to Plaza of the Three Cultures where history layers on top of itself. From there, you'll go to Teotihuacan to walk around the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon, check out the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, the Citadel, and Avenue of the Dead. Next is a stop at a local artisan center, then you'll pass by the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe on the way back. The afternoon is yours to wander around the city on your own.

- Day 3
Mexico City to Puebla
The morning is free in Mexico City, so you can do whatever you'd like. After lunch, you'll head to the bus station for the trip to Puebla, which is about 135 km away. The coach ride gets you there by afternoon, and after checking into your hotel, you'll have time to walk through this colonial city founded in 1531. The architecture and churches around here are really something, and there's a lot of cultural energy in the streets.

- Day 4
Ex Hacienda Chautla and Val Quirico
You'll spend about 5 hours on an excursion to Ex Hacienda Chautla, an 18th-century estate with an English-style castle overlooking an artificial lake and forests around it. Then it's on to Val Quirico, a complex built to look like a medieval European village where you can browse artisan shops and grab a bite at local cafes. You'll return to Puebla with the rest of the afternoon to yourself.

- Day 5
Cholula, Chipilo, and Atlixco
Your full 6-hour included excursion starts in Cholula, a Pueblo Mágico where you'll see San Francisco Acatepec, Santa María Tonantzintla, San Gabriel Convent, the Royal Chapel, and Soria Park. You can climb up to La Virgen de los Remedios Sanctuary at the top of the Great Pyramid. Later you're heading to Chipilo, a community started by Italian immigrants famous for cheese making, where you'll get to taste some. The day finishes in Atlixco exploring the historic center, Wide Staircase murals, Floral Clock, Magical Garden, and a glass viewpoint before heading back to Puebla with free time.

- Day 6
Puebla to Oaxaca and Monte Albán
You're traveling through mountains with beautiful views on the way to Oaxaca, arriving by late morning. There's an included visit to this UNESCO World Heritage site, originally founded by the Aztecs with a lot of important history attached to it. From there you'll head up to Monte Albán, sitting 400 meters above the valley on a mountain, where you can explore the ancient Zapotec ruins. The rest of the day is free to see Oaxaca at your own pace.

- Day 7
Oaxaca to Tuxtla Gutiérrez
You're leaving early and stopping briefly in San Pablo Villa de Mitla, a charming Pueblo Mágico. Take a walk around the 16th-century Church of San Pablo and explore the rustic streets. Then you're heading through the Oaxaca mountains toward the Isthmus. Lunch is included during the drive. You'll arrive in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, the capital of Chiapas, by late afternoon.

- Day 8
Sumidero Canyon, Chiapa de Corzo, and San Cristóbal
Start with a boat trip through Cañón del Sumidero, a canyon that's almost 1 km deep and stretches 14 km long. Then you'll walk through Chiapa de Corzo, a colonial town with a lot of tradition and culture. From there you're heading into Mayan areas to visit villages where the Tzotzil Indians live. You'll check out Zinacantán to see traditional clothing and visit workshops where people weave. Next is San Juan Chamula with its unique church that mixes Christian and pre-Columbian traditions together. The day ends in San Cristóbal de las Casas, a colonial city from 1528, with the afternoon free to explore.

San Cristóbal to Mexico City Departure
You'll get transferred from San Cristóbal to Tuxtla Gutiérrez airport and board your included flight back to Mexico City. After landing, your tour services wrap up. You're heading home with memories from the trip.
