Bergen
You'll arrive in Bergen and head to your hotel for a two-night stay. This historic port city sits among seven hills, and you'll have time to settle in and get oriented to the area before your first full day of exploration.

Bergen
Start by walking through Bergen's narrow cobblestone streets to Bryggen, a UNESCO World Heritage site with colorful Hanseatic buildings along the waterfront. From there, you can visit Troldhaugen, the former home of composer Edvard Grieg. In the afternoon, take your choice: ride the funicular up Mount Floyen for views across the fjords, or head to the historic Fantoft Stave Church by tram. Either option gives you different perspectives on the city and surrounding landscape.

Bergen to Lofthus
Leave Bergen and drive toward Hardanger Fjord, crossing the impressive Hardanger Bridge with open water views on both sides. You'll arrive in Lofthus, an orchard region with the Folgefonna glacier visible across the water. Check into your special accommodation for the night with fjord views from your room.

Lofthus to Oslo
Drive through Hardangervidda National Park, one of Europe's highest plateaus where you might spot wild reindeer. By evening you'll reach Oslo for a two-night special stay in Norway's capital. If interested, there's an optional backstage tour of the Opera House that includes wine, so you can choose how to spend your first night here.

Oslo
Head to Bygdoy Peninsula to explore Viking and maritime history. The Kon-Tiki Museum shows Thor Heyerdahl's sea voyages, and at the Fram Museum you can walk aboard the legendary polar exploration ship. If you want more cultural time, there's an optional tour at the Munch Museum where a specialist can walk you through 'The Scream' and other works from his collection.

Stockholm
A local guide will show you City Hall with its famous golden Three Crowns spire, and you'll see Riddarholm Church and the Royal Palace. End the day with Swedish dinner that blends local tradition with European influences at a nice restaurant.

Copenhagen
Start at Rosenborg Castle, built in 1606 as a royal summer retreat and now holding 400 years of Danish royal treasures, including the Crown Jewels. Then check out the courtyard at Amalienborg Palace where the Danish Royal Family lives. In the afternoon, choose between a canal cruise that passes city highlights or a visit to Tivoli Gardens. Wrap up with a farewell dinner at one of Copenhagen's top restaurants.
