Itinerary
- Day 1
Pangkalan Bun to Tanjung Harapan
You'll arrive in Pangkalan Bun and get transferred by car to Kumai, then head upriver by boat to Tanjung Harapan. There's an information center to check out, and if timing works you'll catch the orangutan feeding at 3pm. Along the way you'll spot proboscis monkeys and various wildlife along the riverbanks. Tonight you're sleeping on a traditional wooden klotok river boat.

Pondok Tanggui to Camp Leakey
Early breakfast comes first, then you'll boat to Pondok Tanggui rehabilitation center for the 9am orangutan feeding and a rainforest trek. After that you'll head by boat to Camp Leakey for lunch, then check out the feeding station at 2pm where older rehabilitated orangutans get extra food. You'll stay overnight on the boat again.

Camp Leakey to Tanjung Harapan
Start with early breakfast and forest trekking to see wildlife and visit the information center at Camp Leakey. After lunch you'll boat downstream to Tanjung Harapan for the second orangutan feeding at 3pm, then pop by the village. Later in the evening you'll slowly boat down to the nipah palm area for firefly spotting (weather permitting). You'll either sleep on the boat or in a local homestay.

Pondok Tanggui and Jungle Trekking
Following breakfast you'll head to Pondok Tanggui for a longer jungle trek. Back at the boat in the afternoon, you'll take a canoe excursion along the river where crocodiles, wild orangutans, birds, and other creatures might show up. Later you'll visit a local village. You're staying on the boat or in a homestay for the night.

Pangkalan Bun to Semarang
After breakfast you'll transfer by car to Pangkalan Bun airport and fly to Semarang. Your tour guide meets you upon arrival and transfers you to your hotel, leaving the rest of the day free to settle in.

Borobudur Temple and Traditional Village
You'll start at the iconic Borobudur Temple, then move into traditional village life by making cassava chips and learning gamelan music. There's time to walk through vegetable gardens and explore the area by horse carriage if that interests you.

Sultan Palace, Taman Sari, Pasar Burung, Kotagede, and Prambanan
Begin at the Sultan Palace where you might see traditional art performances including macapat Java, gamelan, and Javanese dance. From there you'll travel through the village by pedicab to Taman Sari Water Castle, then grab lunch at Pasar Burung (Bird Market). Next comes Kotagede, the former capital and silver craft center. The day ends at the impressive Prambanan Temple.

After breakfast you'll head to the train station and take a train to Mojokerto, then transfer by car to Bromo and check into your hotel for the night.

Bromo Sunrise and Ijen Crater
At 4am you're heading by jeep to Pananjakan for sunrise, then descending into the sea of sand and climbing Mount Bromo on horseback. Back at the hotel you'll rest before heading to Ijen crater. You'll stay overnight at Ijen Resto and Guest House.

Lovina and Munduk
You'll spend time exploring Lovina's black sand beaches. In the afternoon you'll travel to Brama Vihara Arama temple and visit the natural hot springs for a sacred bath. After soaking in the healing waters you'll continue to Munduk for the night.

Kintamani Volcano and Tanah Lot Sunset
Your guide picks you up for a full day touring Bali's spiritual and natural landmarks. You'll visit Gunung Kawi temple with royal stone carvings, Tirta Empul Temple's holy spring, and Kintamani village for views of Mount Batur and Lake Batur. Lunch comes with volcano views, then Taman Ayun Temple and its fish ponds. The day finishes with sunset at Tanah Lot Temple before heading back to your hotel.

Full day exploring Ubud's cultural attractions starts with Barong dance at Batubulan village, then moves to Celuk for gold and silver craftsmanship and Batuan for traditional art painting. You'll discover Tegenungan waterfall, have lunch, explore the well-known Tegalalang rice terraces, visit Ubud monkey forest and the Royal Palace, then browse Ubud market for local handicrafts before returning to your hotel.

Garuda Wisnu Kencana, Beaches, and Kecak Fire Dance
Start at Garuda Wisnu Kencana to see the iconic Lord Vishnu statue and Garuda bird, then head to Dreamland Beach for surfing and swimming. Next you'll visit Uluwatu Temple perched on a cliff and catch the Kecak and fire dance performance (about 1 hour) near the temple. Dinner is seafood at Jimbaran Beach, then you'll return to your hotel with great memories.
