Whenever possible the tour used back roads, which is the best way to see the diversity of the countryside. We stayed in a splendid villa in Tuscany, a monastery converted into a luxurious hotel and many fine hotels during our tour. Our small group of fourteen, represented four nationalities but Flavio skilfully enabled each person to have a unique and pleasurable experience. Flavio also went out of his way quite often to assist members with problems not associated with the tour. Through the busy and congested roads of Italy, we relied on our capable driver Augusto to reach our destination safely.Show more
