Cairo
When you arrive at Cairo Airport, a representative will be there to meet you and handle the airport formalities. From there, you'll get transferred to your hotel in Cairo where they'll help get you checked in. It's a straightforward arrival day, so you can settle in and get comfortable at your accommodation.

Cairo
Begin your Cairo trip with a guided tour of the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx in the morning. You'll head to a local restaurant for lunch, then spend your afternoon at the Grand Egyptian Museum checking out artifacts and treasures from ancient Egypt. After that, head back to your hotel for the evening.

Cairo
You'll take a day trip to Dahshur, Memphis, and Saqqara from Cairo. At Dahshur you descend through tight tunnels to find ancient chambers inside the pyramids. Later you tour Memphis's open-air museum, then visit Saqqara to see the famous Step Pyramid of Djoser. By evening you're back at your Cairo accommodation.

Cairo to Alexandria
Today you travel to Alexandria, the ancient port city founded in 331 BC by Alexander the Great. Your full-day tour starts at the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa with its decorated columns and rock-cut tombs. Next you see Pompey's Pillar, then the Bibliotheca Alexandrina with its striking granite facade. You return to Cairo by evening.

Cairo to White Desert
Early morning around 6:30am you head southwest for about 4 hours toward Bahariya. After a regional lunch, you switch to 4x4 jeeps to explore hot springs, the Black Desert, Crystal Mountain, and Agabat Valley. Then you enter White Desert National Park with photo stops and sand dune slides. At sunset the landscape turns pink, and you camp overnight under the stars with a barbecue dinner, Bedouin music, and stargazing.

White Desert to Cairo
You wake early for breakfast, then transfer back to Bahariya where you switch from jeeps to a mini-coach. The drive back to Cairo takes the rest of your morning and afternoon, giving you time to rest during the journey.

Cairo to Aswan
You fly from Cairo to Aswan this morning. When you arrive, a representative picks you up and takes you to your 5-star Nile cruise ship for check-in. After resting, your tour guide briefs you on the cruise schedule. You then check out Aswan's sites including the Temple of Philae on Agilika Island, the Unfinished Obelisk at the quarries, and the Aswan High Dam. You'll spend the night on the ship.

Aswan to Kom Ombo to Edfu
An optional early tour takes you to Abu Simbel to see the temples of King Ramesses II and Queen Nefertari with their giant statues and the famous sun phenomenon. In the afternoon the cruise sails toward Kom Ombo. You visit Kom Ombo Temple honoring gods Sobek and Horus, and explore the mummified crocodile museum. The ship continues to Edfu for an overnight stay.

Edfu to Luxor
After breakfast at Edfu, you ride a horse carriage to Edfu Temple, the second largest temple in ancient Egypt and dedicated to Horus. The cruise then sails to Luxor, arriving around 4pm. You start exploring the East Bank with guided tours of Karnak Temple Complex and Luxor Temple. You'll stay overnight on the cruise ship.

Luxor West Bank
You have the option for an early hot air balloon ride over the West Bank at sunrise. Whether you take the balloon or start after breakfast around 8am, you'll explore the Valley of the Kings where 63 pharaohs were buried, the mortuary temple of Hatshepsut at the cliff base, and the Colossi of Memnon. After finishing the West Bank, you check into your hotel in Luxor.

After this optional stop (or if you skip it), you drive to Hurghada on the Red Sea coast. You check into your 5-star all-inclusive beach hotel where meals are included.
