- AMAntwan· March 10th, 2024The trip planned area covered the intent of tour seeing different interesting places but limitations of the trip was restricting the full benefit 1-Tour guides in general have limited knowledge and most with poor English not sure what was the issue 2-Hotels were not what we expected specifically in San Cristobal (Casa Vieja) and Merida (Mision de Fray Diego ) although location was good the rest were good 3-Cancelled the fiist day to anthropology Museum (explanation about pollution ?! ) 4-The tours have no relation to Touradar so for example one lunch was included and the guide/driver said after we asked said that he will give us 300 Pesos for lunch allowance ( very unusual) 5-With too many different guides and number of people in the tours many were by ourselves like in Chichen Itza the guide decided less than one hour was enough and can give us more time on our own in other word the real problem in our mind is the filling the spots rather than knowing people and keep them regularly 6-It was really great areas to visit and wonderful people and country to visit for the first time I think review of the trip with same guide and driver for at least around same area will be beneficial and better overview understandingShow moreTrip date: February 2024

Maybe it was because of the time, but except for two days we had private tours- was very cool :) All guides were super friendly and helpful. In addition, they all told a lot about the history of the country and the Maya. Hotels were top and the breakfast was great everywhere. Although it is currently rainy season, we were very lucky with the weather. Except for a shower during the boat tour we stayed dry. You definitely need cash and especially a lot of change. We suggest you to look for information about the published hotels, however, these are not the final ones, depending on availability we can confirm in similar hotels in 3 or 4 stars depending on the category you book. At the end of your tour we can drop you off in the center of Tulum so that you can take a taxi to take you to the hotel you have booked on your own. We did not enter the hotel zone of Tulum.

Are you able to purchase for me the internal flight ticket from Mexico City to Tuxtla Gutierrez? If yes, let me know the payment details. In Chichen Itza, are we visiting the pyramids there? Not specifically mentioned in the itinerary. As it is termed as 'Private tour', can that be included in the itinerary? At least a short visit for a photo shoot. In Cancun, I need your optional 1 night stay + airport transfer at your standard hotel near the airport. How & when do I make the payment for this? Any travel formalities for Singapore citizens?

We cannot purchase the domestic flight but we can assist you as to where to buy it once you have booked the tour. In Chichen Itza, the tour covers the Temple of Kukulkan (El Castillo), Great Ball Court, Skull Platform, and Sacred Cenote. After the tour, we will drop you off at your selected extension hotel in Cancun or Riviera Maya. For country permits and special requirements, check the official Mexican government website or the Mexico Embassy website in Singapore.

There are two flights leaving from Mexico City with Aeromexico that arrive before that time. One very early in the morning and the other arrives to Tuxtla very close to the time you need to be there. The price is approximately 120 USD.

The tour is designed for ages 8 to 99. It's really not that common for children to join. Mostly singles and couples. Young adults and middle aged clients is the basic but it all depends! Yes they are. No minimum.

Would twin rooms be available at the hotels on the trip? - For the flight between Mexico City and Tuxtla, will there be a recommended flight time (e.g. a flight when the entire group will be flying)?

The double rooms have two full size beds, there is no two twin options in most hotels in Mexico. For the flight, we do suggest to check with Aeromexico mostly as it has the earliest flight as you need to be at the airport in Tuxtla before 13:00 hrs so that you can make it for the group departure from there.

How would accommodation work here? Would we have to book one double and a single? Or can we book two doubles? If we book two doubles, would one of us be sharing with stranger? For transport, presumably we will be travelling a lot via bus. If that is the case, are any toilet facilities on the bus?

Due to release times with hotels, we only have departures from October onwards. For the beds, the reservation would have to be a double room and a single one. For the transportation, depending on the amount of people the van or bus is decided. You will have access to toilet facilities during transfer times, either on the bus or at stop places.
