Mexico City
You'll arrive in Mexico City whenever works for your schedule. Once you get there, meet up with your CEO and the rest of the travel group for a welcome gathering to get everyone started on the right foot.

Mexico City
The day is yours to spend however you'd like in Mexico City. You could walk through the zócalo, which is the main square and pretty central to everything, or head to Coyoacán to check out the Frida Kahlo museum in that colorful neighborhood. The National Anthropology Museum has really impressive Mayan and Aztec artifacts if you're into that kind of thing.

Mexico City to Puebla
Head out early to see Teotihuacan, the ancient city just outside Mexico City. A guide will take you through the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon, and you'll walk down the Avenue of the Dead to learn about what this place meant historically. After that, you travel south to Puebla for an orientation walk through downtown so you get your bearings.

Puebla
Puebla is all yours for exploration. You might visit a ceramics workshop to see local craftspeople at work, or check out the pyramid at Cholula nearby. Try some local specialties while you're here, and if you're interested in something different, there's lucha libre wrestling matches at night that are a lot of fun.

Puebla to Oaxaca
Travel south to Oaxaca and take an orientation walk to get familiar with the city layout. You'll stop by one of the sprawling markets and then meet a local artisan at the Alebrijes Artisan Community. This is your G for Good moment where you'll learn directly about how these traditional crafts are created by the people who make them.

Oaxaca
Free time in Oaxaca means you can do quite a bit. Take a cooking class to learn how mole is made, wander through artisan villages nearby for shopping, or visit Mitla, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. You could also check out a local mezcal distillery for some tasting. By evening, join a cooking demonstration with a local expert and taste some regional dishes.

Oaxaca to Palenque
Head to Villahermosa by air, then transfer to Palenque by land. It's a bit of travel but you're getting closer to the Mayan ruins in the jungle region of Chiapas.

Go on a guided tour of Palenque's Mayan ruins, which sit right in the jungle setting. If you want more exploration in the afternoon, you can do an optional jungle walk to see more of the rainforest and the wildlife around the site.

Palenque to Mérida
Travel to the Yucatán Peninsula and stop in Campeche, a seaside historic city worth seeing. Continue on to Mérida and do an orientation walk once you arrive so you get to know the city's main attractions and how everything is laid out.

Mérida
You have the day free to explore Mérida and what's around it. Check out the Mayan ruins at Uxmal if ancient history interests you, or spend time in Mérida's main square and visit some of the historic buildings right in the city center.

Mérida to Valladolid
Take a guided tour of Chichén Itzá, one of the major Mayan cities. Then continue to Valladolid, a smaller and quieter city. If you want to cool off, there's an option to swim in a nearby cenote, which is a natural sinkhole filled with water and pretty unique to this region.

Valladolid to Playa del Carmen
Head to Playa del Carmen to settle in and relax on the beaches of the Mayan Riviera. It's warm here and the water is clear, so this is your time to unwind after all the ruins and exploration.
