Asked on March 17th, 2025My clients live in Halifax, so they don't need the hotel for the pre-trip stay. Given this, would they get a discount for the hotel stay, and are they still permitted to take in the meet & greet the night before the tour begins? What are, or are there any differences, between the tours priced at $5307 CAD & those priced at $6394 CAD? Or is it just due to the dates of departure?
Atlantic Tours & TravelOperator•Written March 2025If your clients are local then we would certainly be able to remove the cost of that first hotel night in Halifax. This would reduce the tour rate by $103 + tax per person, based on two people travelling. They would still be able to attend the Meet & Greet which is from 8PM-9PM at the Cambridge Suites Hotel. The clients would just need to be at the Cambridge Suites hotel for tour departure by 12:30PM on day 2, to meet the group and leave with the tour bus. For the difference prices, these are based on whether the tour date is a small group departure, or a regular sized group departure date. Small groups max out at 26 passengers, while the regular group maxes out at 48 passengers. The higher priced rate is based on a small group departure.

Traveler•Written March 2025These same clients are getting ready to book this tour. However, they are wanting to take the Western Brook Pond Excursion on Day 7. Is there an additional cost for this, or is this still included within the pricing quoted? In addition, they definitely want to remove the hotel in Halifax the night before the tour leaves. We will need a new total. It states the Western Brook Pond Excursion must be booked at time of deposit. However, do I just book this tour as is through Tour Radar, and then contact Tour Radar or Atlantic Tours to add the other tour and remove the hotel?

There is no additional cost for selecting the Western Brook Pond boat choice in Gros Morne National Park. You can just leave a note in the comments for their boat choice so we can add it for them. As for the booking, you can select the tour on TourRadar and just add a comment in the notes that you need the 1st night in Halifax removed and we can then adjust the booking and rate.

For August 2025 we have the following dates available: August 1 - August 13, 2025, August 8 - August 20, 2025 | Small Group Departure, August 15 - August 27, 2025, August 29 - September 10, 2025 | Small Group Departure. The single rate for our regular groups departures is $6290 + 15% tax = $7233.50. The single rate for our small group departures is $7340+ 15% = $8441.00. The airport transfer in Halifax to downtown hotel to start the tour would be: $115+ 15% tax =$132.25. The airport transfer from St Johns to the Airport at the end of the tour is $35 + 15% tax = $40.25. We do not have any deals with any of the airlines therefore we do not offer flights.

We do indeed book single passengers. We unfortunately do not have a room sharing list so you would just be book a single room for yourself; but with that being said, we do often have other single passengers solo travelling on the trip, along with the usual couples, triples, and quads.

The motor-coach transportation that takes place between Halifax and St. Johns would be included in the price of the tour. Transportation between the airport and hotel at the beginning and end of the tour would not be included in the price. We do offer transfers for the beginning and end of the tour as add-ons, as well as having the option to add on pre/post-nights onto your tour.
